Armenia Securities Exchange and Central Depository of Armenia is looking for a Market Surveillance Specialist to join its Securities Market Surveillance team and be responsible for securities market ongoing monitoring, to ensure operator's compliance with the requirements of laws and regulations and initiating disciplinary proceedings or applying preventive or other measures in case of violation or suspicion of a violation.ՊԱՐՏԱԿԱՆՈւԹՅՈւՆՆԵՐ՝
- Implement ongoing market surveillance;- Implement ongoing supervision of compliance with requirements established by law, regulations and other legal acts, participate in audits, investigate suspicious or infringing cases;
- Submit a request for explanations, information and/ or documents from the representatives of supervised entities regarding the disclosed suspicious information, suspicious transactions or applications, and violations;
- Submit proposal about initiating disciplinary proceedings, abstention, preventive or other measures against supervised entities, in case of violation or suspicion of a violation;
- Provide advice and/ or guidance to the representatives of supervised entities or other stakeholders;
- Examine opportunities for improving market surveillance mechanisms, and provide relevant recommendations;
- Prepare reports on the activities of the market surveillance service.
ԱՆՀՐԱԺԵՇՏ ՈՐԱԿԱՎՈՐՈՒՄՆԵՐ՝
- Higher education in Finance or Law;- Good knowledge of securities markets and securities regulations;
- At least 2 years of similar work experience in finance or law is desirable;
- Availability of professional qualification for operator's surveillance service or ability to obtain one within 3 months of taking the position;
- Teamwork and effective time management skills;
- Ability to respond and solve the arising problems quickly;
- Researching and reporting skills;
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in Armenian language;
- Good knowledge of English and Russian languages is preferred.
