ԱՇԽԱՏԱՆՔԻ ՆԿԱՐԱԳԻՐ՝ 

Armenian Branch of Association “Medecins Sans Frontieres” (Switzerland) is launching a project to support Republic of Armenia Ministry of Health (MoH) with the Hepatitis C elimination plan with evidence for optimized models of care to scale-up the access to Hepatitis C virus (HCV) care, and with the elimination-targets by expanding access to screening, diagnosis and treatment.
The project will provide access to timely Hepatitis C screening, diagnosis, and treatment trough a simplified “one-stop-shop” service delivery model in two different settings: In existing MoH Primary Health Center (PHC) (Polyclinic) in Yerevan City targeting general population in one-stop-shop-model and including differentiated services delivery models for key populations in partnership with community-based organization in a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) approach and seeking to employ a candidate for Medical Liaison Officer.
Main Purpose: Involve in implementation and continuation of project medical activities. Support Medical Activity Manager (MAM) by ensuring good relationship with National Governmental Hospital Director and other medical staff.

ՊԱՐՏԱԿԱՆՈւԹՅՈւՆՆԵՐ՝ 

- Ensure the quality and continuity of project medical activities and medical care to the targeted population;
- Responsible for keeping link between MAM and Hospital Director;
- Responsible for keeping link between MAM and Governmental staff of medical facilities where MSF is carrying out medical activities;
- Assist MAM in implementation of medical activities according to validated Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) and monitoring proper use of provided resources;
- Ensure proper patient care during diagnosis, admission, treatment, follow up and discharge;
- Ensure complete medical record and data are collected by responsible medical staff;
- Assist MAM in preparation of monthly medical report;
- Participate in regular medical team meetings;
- Provide verbal and written translations related to project medical activities as needed;
- Follow up and report to MAM any medical challenges encountered at the project sites;
- It is expected to use already existing community-led activities for community HIV testing adding HCV screening trough assisted self-testing, and explore collaboration with HIV, OST, TB and prevention/ harm reduction services for care integration and post-treatment follow up;
- In penitentiary system, by a Test & Treat approach in Armavir prison, and support with commodities (Xpert cartridges and DAAs) to Yerevan Penitentiary Hospital for diagnosis and treatment in the other prisons by reflex testing and telemedicine;
- A network mapping for follow up after release to be developed in order to link to prevention/ harm reductions services and timely detect reinfections.

ԱՆՀՐԱԺԵՇՏ ՈՐԱԿԱՎՈՐՈՒՄՆԵՐ՝ 

- Education: Medical Doctor diploma; training/ experience in Infectious Diseases is an asset;
- Experience: At least 2 years of post-graduation clinically certified work experience;
- Languages: Knowledge of working Armenian and English languages; knowledge of Russian language would be an asset;
- Knowledge: Proficient computer literacy (MS Office package).

- Outstanding proven time management and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize ongoing vs. immediate need appropriately;
