Central Bank of Armenia is looking for Methodologists to join Financial system regulation department team.ՊԱՐՏԱԿԱՆՈւԹՅՈւՆՆԵՐ՝
The scope of the main functions:Policy development
- Develop new policies or revise existing policies for the following purposes:
a) address the risks
b) ensure the development of the banking system,
c) form a regulatory field that corresponds to current digital developments,
d) bring the banking system in line with the best international experience,
e) ensure the normal functioning of the banking system.
- Regulations establish requirements for banks operating in the territory of the Republic of Armenia to meet standards for capital, liquidity, internal control, licensing, and market exit.
Research
- Conduct research to assess the current state of the banking system, identifying possible risk areas and assessing the effectiveness of existing policies;
- Study developments and changes in the regulation of banking internationally and evaluate the convenience of their investment in the banking system of Republic of Armenia.
Cooperation
- Identify project stakeholders, including banks, government agencies, and international organizations, present proposed policies and collect feedback;
- Perform other mandatory processes for policy approval.
Monitoring and evaluation
- Monitor policy implementation, evaluate effectiveness and make adjustments as needed.
External communication
- Cooperate with the regulatory and supervisory authorities in other countries to exchange information, harmonize legislation, and have a prudent regulation for creating a competitive banking system;
- Present the regulations implemented in the RA banking system during meetings with private and state bodies, regulatory bodies of banking systems of other countries and international organizations (BIS, BSCEE, IMF, WB).
ԱՆՀՐԱԺԵՇՏ ՈՐԱԿԱՎՈՐՈՒՄՆԵՐ՝
- Higher education in Economics;- 2+ years of experience in the Financial sector;
- In-depth knowledge of banking legislation and regulatory framework;
- Advanced knowledge of risk management;
- In-depth knowledge of Finance, Financial analysis and Accounting;
- Fluency in Armenian, Russian and English languages;
- Analytical skills;
- Communication skills;
- Collaboration skills;
- Ability to work independently;
- Flexibility;
- Result and goal oriented;
- Ability to take initiative; An additional advantage will be considered:
- Professional qualifications ACCA, FRM, CFA
