ԱՇԽԱՏԱՆՔԻ ՆԿԱՐԱԳԻՐ՝ 

The Mine Surveyor directly reports to the Senior Mine Engineer of Lydian Armenia CJSC. Mine Surveyor is answerable for: a) improper performance or failure to execute his/ her duties stipulated for by this job description - within the limits defined by the acting Labor Code of the Republic of Armenia; b) offences committed during the process of activities - within the limits defined by the acting administrative, criminal and civil legislation of the Republic of Armenia; c) financial and physical damage – within the limits defined by the acting labour and civil legislation of the Republic of Armenia.
The Mine Surveyor has the right to suspend mining operations, if these works are carried out in violation of the requirements of regulatory and technical documents, which may cause damage to deposits, deformation of mine workings, create emergency conditions and hazard to life of those working in the open pit. In this case, the Mine Surveyor immediately reports to the management and chief surveyor about suspension of work.

ՊԱՐՏԱԿԱՆՈւԹՅՈւՆՆԵՐ՝ 

- Responsible for timely and high-quality performance of a set of surveying works required for full technological cycle of mining, construction and other works, efficient use and protection of mineral resources of operated deposits;
- Design and develop survey networks in the industrial facility site and open pit, excavate and surface surveying, measure performed scope of mining activities, prepare graphic documents for making blasting patterns, prepare and complete mining graphic and calculate surveying documents in accordance with acting requirements, implement elements of mining working projects and communications, limits of safe mining;
- Carry out surveying control over compliance with design geometric parameters of benches, open pit slopes, roads, safety berms, work areas and other facilities, control their state when operation is in process;
- Control fulfilling of requirements in design, technical and regulatory documents, in mining operation development plans, good timing and effective conduct of measures for safe mining works, protection of mineral resources and environment, buildings and structures from negative impact of mining operations;
- Take part with other departments in development yearly, quarterly and monthly plans of mining operations, local projects for mine development and other technical documents;
- Provide jointly with the geological department planning, estimation and development of the scope of mining activities, including volumes of extraction, losses and dilution of minerals, as well as recording state of mineral reserves stripped and prepared for extraction;
- In liaison with the geological department, perform activities related to geometrization of the deposit, carry out computation and estimation of scope of mining operations, prepare and periodically update surveying graphics;
- Be involved in development of projects of construction, shut down and decommissioning of mining facilities, operational exploration of deposits, measures on safe mining near dangerous zones, on prevention and elimination of accidents, protection of buildings, structures and environment from negative impact of mining operations, efficient and complex use of mineral deposits;
- Be involved in in preparing reports on the scope of stripping works and extraction of ore, losses and dilution of ore when extraction, on the completeness of resource recovery and the progress of excavations.

ԱՆՀՐԱԺԵՇՏ ՈՐԱԿԱՎՈՐՈՒՄՆԵՐ՝ 

- Higher education in a related field or secondary technical education in mine surveying;
- Knowledge of Armenian, Russian and English languages;
- Knowledge of regulations, rules, orders on the enterprise and Lydian Armenia regarding mine survey department, methodical standards, specifications and guidelines, design documents, as well as documents on production and operational management;
- Knowledge of and experience with technology of mining and mine surveying, rules for the technical operation of survey tools and instruments, methods for monitoring the displacement of the earth's surface and other mining operation facilities within rock allocation area and the state of secured facilities;
- Knowledge of procedure for recording movements of reserves, losses and mineral dilution when mining, all types of survey and calculation works, procedure for preparing surveying graphics;
- Advanced national and international experience in surveying companies;
- Knowledge of fundamentals of economics, mining organizations, labor and management;
- Knowledge of fundamentals of labor and environmental legislation, laws on mineral resources and industrial safety;
