ԱՇԽԱՏԱՆՔԻ ՆԿԱՐԱԳԻՐ՝ 

The context of this role is to ensure timely implementation and proper review of local Purchasing, Travel, Third Party Management strategies in line with HSBC Group requirements, monitor and manage purchasing standards (including travel and entertainment expenses) to deliver objectives set for the function.

ՊԱՐՏԱԿԱՆՈւԹՅՈւՆՆԵՐ՝ 

- Ensure timely implementation and proper review of local Purchasing, Travel, Third Party Management strategies in line with HSBC Group requirements;
- Monitor and manage purchasing standards (including travel and entertainment expenses) to deliver objectives set for the function;
- Create strategic relationships with suppliers to achieve best value for money through negotiating preferential terms;
- Ensure contractual protection and efficiencies in the procurement process;
- Follow up with Group level purchasing standards/ policies for purchasing in all areas in line with strategy;
- Promulgate the Third Party Risk Management requirements in HSBC Bank Armenia in addition to Group requirements;
- Control and monitor the Bank's supply processes in line with the policies and business lines' requirements;
- Attend local, regional and global calls and meetings, provide monthly update to local and regional management on department activities;
- Promulgate and follow the letter and spirit of Risk and Compliance policies;
- Manage the control environment of the department mitigating the risks arising from daily operations;
- Continually reassess the operational risks associated with the role and inherent in the business, taking account of changing economic or market conditions, legal and regulatory requirements, operating procedures and practices, management restructurings, and the impact of new technology.

ԱՆՀՐԱԺԵՇՏ ՈՐԱԿԱՎՈՐՈՒՄՆԵՐ՝ 

- At least 4 years of experience in procurement, preferably in an international organization;
- Strong understanding of procurement processes (sourcing, including contract management and supplier management; knowledge of Accounts Payable will be a plus);
- At least a bachelor's degree;
- Understanding of corporate business culture and environment;
- Strong knowledge of legal terminology (both interpretation and application);
- Knowledge and ability to translate procedural guidance, local rules and regulations into workable frameworks;
- Ability to manage different supplies and competing interests;
- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines;
- Capacity to prioritize work effectively; strong time management skills;
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively across customer groups and territories;
- Chartered Institute for Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) or similar certification will be a strong plus.
