CARD Foundation is looking for a Procurement Officer to join USAID funded "Rural Economic Development - New Economic Opportunities" (RED-NEO) team to help manage the program's procurement needs. Procurement Officer responsibilities include researching new suppliers, ensuring that all purchased products and materials meet specifications, and negotiating with vendors as needed.ՊԱՐՏԱԿԱՆՈւԹՅՈւՆՆԵՐ՝
- Estimate and establish cost parameters and budgets for purchases;- Make professional decisions in a fast-paced environment;
- Review and analyze all vendors/ suppliers, supply, and price options;
- Develop plans for purchasing equipment, services, and supplies;
- Negotiate the best deal for pricing and supply contracts;
- Ensure that the products and supplies are high quality;
- Maintain and update list of suppliers and their qualifications, delivery times, and potential future development;
- Work with team members to complete duties as needed;
- Provide a strategic, efficient and flexible procurement service which will deliver optimum value for money, cost savings and best quality of service;
- Advise and support staff in procurements and supplier relationships helping to drive better procurement practice;
- Support procurement activities such as the tender process, supplier relationships and contract management for goods and services;
- Assist in the development of internal procedures and documentation in relation to procurement;
- Assist in managing commercial and reputational risks in its relations with suppliers;
- Assist with purchases and order enquiries;
- Ensure purchases are properly approved in terms of authority levels;
- Administering supplier contracts;
- Lead and monitor supplier relationships;
- Demonstrate professionalism towards sensitive and confidential information.
ԱՆՀՐԱԺԵՇՏ ՈՐԱԿԱՎՈՐՈՒՄՆԵՐ՝
- Bachelor's degree;- At least 3 years of job experience in procurement;
- Analytical, problem-solving personality with the ability to negotiate and build relationships with vendors;
- Experience with data entry, database management, and reporting and compliance;
- Perfect communication skills.
