Labour Contract – full time

ԱՇԽԱՏԱՆՔԻ ՆԿԱՐԱԳԻՐ՝ 

Currently, Action Against Hunger South Caucasus has the possibility of recruiting one or more Project Officers in its Yerevan office in Armenia, pending donor funding. The Project Officer supports the Program Manager in organizing and planning project interventions and their delivery. They will work closely and cooperatively with all project partners, stakeholders, and beneficiaries to ensure local participation in all aspects of the project. They will also support Action Against Hunger in developing further responses to the needs of the local population.

ՊԱՐՏԱԿԱՆՈւԹՅՈւՆՆԵՐ՝ 

- Assist and follow up the implementation of the project activities to support the improvement of quality of life of displaced persons and most vulnerable population;
- Support the Program Coordinator/Manager in the careful planning of each specific project intervention;
- Support and guide project staff and partner agencies to ensure all activities are effectively delivered according to project plans and timeframe;
- Support in the process of identifying and selecting beneficiaries and assessing their needs;
- Support in the organization of various awareness-raising and knowledge-building activities among the project target groups and beneficiaries;
- Ensure the M&E policies are followed during the project implementation in coordination and under guidance of M&E Manager;
- Facilitate strong coordination with all key stakeholders;
- Facilitate the M&E processes the necessary means of verification, data and information to ensure the correct monitoring of the project;
- Provide verbal and written reports to direct and functional managers on the progress of the project towards objectives and activities in the workplan and any additional activities;
- Ensure proper archiving of technical supporting documents and beneficiary data;
- Support in the development of any training materials to be utilized;
- Support in the design and production of awareness-raising, information and promotional materials (booklets, posters, social media, videos etc.) that may be required;
- Assist in design, planning, oversight and maintenance of the monitoring and evaluation system for all activities, in consultation with the M&E Manager;
- Assist Program Coordinator/Manager to draft monthly Activity Progress Reports, Project Interim and Final Reports to Action Against Hunger and its donors;
- Assist in the gathering and collation of all pertinent information and data on the project response to improve delivery and support the design of further interventions;
- Work together with project team, local and international experts and stakeholders to examine new opportunities for support;
- Provide recommendations to the Action Against Hunger Program Coordinator/ Manager for future programmatic support;
- Support in the development and drafting of future interventions and proposals to support the most vulnerable.

ԱՆՀՐԱԺԵՇՏ ՈՐԱԿԱՎՈՐՈՒՄՆԵՐ՝ 

- University degree or technical diploma in a relevant field;
- Minimum 3 years of experience in project management and oversight in a similar context, preferably with international organizations;
- Knowledge of humanitarian programming is a considerable advantage (shelter renovation, Cash and Voucher assistance, in-kind aid distributions, MHPSS and social protection);
- Knowledge promoting of basic rights;
- Experience in implementing grant programmes;
- Excellent diplomatic, communication and negotiation skills;
- Excellent planning and organizational skills, attention to details;
- Fluency in Armenian and English languages; knowledge of Russian is an asset;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office;
- Team player with a sense of professionalism and loyalty to organization;
- Demonstrate value value-driven attitude and integrity towards his/ her professional duties;
- Demonstrate commitment towards gender equality issues;
- Motivated by humanitarian aims and be flexible with respect to working hours and place of work.
