ԱՇԽԱՏԱՆՔԻ ՆԿԱՐԱԳԻՐ՝ 

The Social Worker will provide social support to the displaced population of Nagorno-Karabakh and link them with other relevant support services.
- Assessing Social Support Needs;
- Providing direct social support (Case Management);
- Facilitating referrals to evaluated external resources;
- Mapping, Networking and Use of Support Network;
- Reporting;
- Maintaining the Institutional Memory of Social Records/ Social Work Files;
- Outreach and On-Site Visits through Mobile Support Units.

ՊԱՐՏԱԿԱՆՈւԹՅՈւՆՆԵՐ՝

Assessing Social Support Needs:
- Individual social Intakes, identifying the social support needs of the displaced population;
- Assessments of Social Support needs in specific locations and within specific population groups.

Providing direct social support (Case Management):
- Social Work Counseling and Support Provision (Case Management, particularly for vulnerable people);
- Provision of care to patients and their families through individual Social Work Sessions;
- Actively coordinating their work with the other members of the MSF multidisciplinary team (eg. medical, MHPSS).

Facilitating referrals to evaluated external resources (for Protection and Social work issues):
- Linking and Referring with multi-sectoral services such as protection, safety, security, legal, justice, education, and livelihood.

Mapping, Networking and Use of Support Network:
- Create/ update/ maintain a social workers referral network (act as a referral liaison person between the team on site/ Mobile Units and other Actors providing social assistance);
- Regularly updating formal and informal support services (Inc. Existing community resources). Assess the quality of existing support services, with identification of gaps and advocacy for an improved culturally appropriate social response.

Reporting:
- Reporting Weekly to Mental Health Activity Manager (MHAM) and Project Coordinator (PC) for the Open Social Work Files, network and referrals

Maintaining the Institutional Memory of Social Records / Social Work Files
- Properly file Social Intakes per managing case Vulnerable Cases associated files
- Properly file tools for dissemination of information (leaflets, info material for Protection Issues)

Outreach and On-Site Visits through Mobile Support Units:
- On a weekly basis (few days per week according to needs specified by PC

Other Responsibilities:
- Participate in organized surveys or peer education system led by PC and MHAM;
- Participate in Meetings as requested by the supervisor: Internal (Medical Meeting) or external (e.g. Protection Working Group).

ԱՆՀՐԱԺԵՇՏ ՈՐԱԿԱՎՈՐՈՒՄՆԵՐ՝

Essential
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work (BSW) or applied Social Science with more than 2 years of Operational Experience as a Social Worker;
- Working Experience: Two years as a Social Worker:
a) Experienced in individual counseling (Social Work Sessions)
b) Experienced in working with Vulnerable Cases;
- Computer (Microsoft Office literacy);
- Languages:
a) Armenian: Fluent - Written and Spoken;
b) English: Fluent - Written and Spoken.

Desirable
- Working Experience with NK Displaced Population;
- Working Experience on Mental Health Service Provision domain;
- Working Experience with NGOs, INGOs;
- Familiar with an interdisciplinary way of working (e.g as a member of Medical or Protection team collaborating with different specialties);
