ОПИСАНИЕ ДОЛЖНОСТИ:
The Financial Management and Project Controlling Expert (m/f/div) will be responsible for the overall financial project management for several projects with different durations, volumes, donors, and partners. The position is a part of the finance and administration team and offers the opportunity to work closely with The Organization's colleagues globally, seconded and freelance experts, and advise the project manager(s) on all aspects of financial management and controlling of the project.IPC offers an interesting and challenging job that requires a pragmatic approach, the will to work efficiently in an interdisciplinary team, and the necessary assertiveness to get even difficult tasks done right.
ОБЯЗАННОСТИ:
- Independently execute all necessary administrative and financial tasks within the scope of project implementation, e.g. budget planning, budget reallocations, budget controlling, invoicing, project closings;- Draft contracts and communicate with funders to ensure all contractual obligations and compliance are met;
- Advice and support team leaders and project managers (e.g., budget reviews, expert assignment planning, staff representation, contractual obligations);
- Document project-relevant documents; maintain the project database (data maintenance and import, entry of new contracts, customers, partners, experts);
- Collaborate with projects’ experts in the accounting of business trips, time and cost recording; review and process expense claims;
- Contract and communicate with subcontractors; ensure contractual obligations are met and adhered to by subcontractor; review and process invoices from service providers.
ТРЕБУЕМАЯ КВАЛИФИКАЦИЯ:
- Professional experience in financial and/ or project management in the field of development cooperation ideally working with different clients such as KfW, the EBRD, the EIB, etc;- Training or studies with a commercial orientation or otherwise acquired in-depth knowledge in project financial controlling;
- Knowledge in the field of accounting and/or taxes and/ or law is an advantage;
- IT and system affinity as well as profound knowledge in MS Office, especially MS Excel, MS Office, and MS Word;
- Excellent command of the English language and at least one other relevant language (e.g. Spanish, French, Russian, etc.);
- Independent working style, organizational skills as well as high reliability and thoroughness;
- Distinct analytical thinking and careful working methods;
- Very good communication and social skills, team spirit, initiative.
