ОПИСАНИЕ ДОЛЖНОСТИ: 

Deutsche Welle Akademie is looking for an IT Support Specialist for a short-term service contract, minimum 17 days. The post holder will work with the DW Akademie project staff based in Armenia. The assignment includes travel to different locations within Armenia.

ОБЯЗАННОСТИ: 

- Support the audience research team during 17 days of audience research on-site in different locations in Armenia: Yerevan, Gyumri, Goris, Vanadzor, Alaverdi, Ijevan, Sevan, Gavar, Armavir. Travel and, if necessary, accommodation will be provided. During the sessions, the IT support will be working with a team of 2-3 audience researchers and coordinators;
- Participate in 2 peer learning audience research sessions to be trained by an experienced audience research team as part of the days above;
- Create a technical infrastructure for the usage of the DW developed app “Videometrics” and ensure the whole process runs smoothly;
- Configure and maintain the necessary hardware, especially the tablets used for audience research;
- Record and store all data, and share it with the team upon the end of the process;
- Evaluate implementation of the technical side of the research and provide feedback for further adjustment, if needed;
- Maintain open communication with the project team during all phases of the audience research.

ТРЕБУЕМАЯ КВАЛИФИКАЦИЯ: 

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences or related fields, or equivalent proven experience;
- Knowledge of audience research techniques (both online and offline) gained through experience is an advantage; necessary knowledge about audience research can be gained through training sessions during work time;
- Demonstrated record of professional experience in IT support, including maintaining computer networks for all types of organizations, providing technical support; monitoring and maintaining the company computer systems, hardware and software. Proven experience in solving technical issues;
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills and ability to identify challenges and seek out new ways of doing things;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; demonstrated ability to share knowledge, ideas and skills;
- Excellent speaking and writing skills in English language; knowledge of Russian or German language will be considered as a strong advantage.
