ОПИСАНИЕ ДОЛЖНОСТИ: 

The Online Instructor or e-tutor is a vacant position within the AGBU Armenian Virtual College to perform teaching Armenian as a Second Language, History and Culture in English language and operate as a part of the Education Department team. The Online Instructor reports directly and works closely with Education Programs Coordinator.

ОБЯЗАННОСТИ: 

- Contact new students to help build their confidence and understanding of the course;
- Help students to develop their study skills;
- Act as a point of contact for students' queries;
- Give support by telephone and email;
- Help students to set up discussion forums and chat rooms;
- Take part in audio and video conferencing;
- Conduct virtual classrooms (classes conducted through web technology);
- Assess students' work and give feedback;
- Organize cultural events for students;
- Research, translate all the necessary material that contributes to the learning process.

ТРЕБУЕМАЯ КВАЛИФИКАЦИЯ: 

- Subject matter expertise in Armenian Language, Armenian History, and Armenian Culture;
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Education, Training or area of Subject Matter Expertise;
- Excellent knowledge of Armenian and English languages;
- Teaching, training, or tutoring experience with high school students, young adults, and/ or adults;
- Good networking skills, ability to maintain relationships with students and colleagues;
- Ability to use reflective practice and promote its use for learning;
- Strong presentation and communication skills;
- Creative and innovative thinking.
