ОПИСАНИЕ ДОЛЖНОСТИ:
The Senior Economic Advisor will serve as the "Armenia Business Enabling Environment Activity" (implemented by IDG and financed by USAID) project's economic advisor, delivering technical assistance and providing advisory services to the GOAM. He/ she will report to the Project Director or her designee.ОБЯЗАННОСТИ:
- Undertake economic analysis of the economic model in Armenia and macroeconomic and trade/ investment flow relationships;- Provide technical support to investment related areas to increase their policy impact through providing high level economic and public policy advice and analysis;
- Prepare presentation/ report/ brief of the economic analysis/ policy assessment as required by the Project;
- Provide technical support to the development of the Investment Reforms road-map as required by the Project;
- Perform data collation and analysis activities from relevant international data sources;
- Support the Project Director and the ABEE team in facilitating the discussions and developing economic analyses related to project activities;
- Conduct dialogue with USAID counterparts, country counterparts, and project consultants on economic analyses and economic growth discussions;
- Manage tasks, meet deadlines, design and execute on work plans, and present research and findings;
- Provide infographics analysis of economic/ political relationships. Advanced ability in Word, Excel, and PPT is required. Capability in other statistical and design tools is helpful;
- Provide high quality written analysis and strategic recommendations;
- Perform other duties as requested.
Expected Results:
- Presentations/ reports/ briefs of the economic analysis/ policy assessment (with recommendations) related to the ABEE areas of support and as required by the Project.
ТРЕБУЕМАЯ КВАЛИФИКАЦИЯ:
- At least 10 years of policy experience on issues related to macroeconomic policy, economic development, or relevant aspects of economic growth;- Advanced degree (master's or equivalent) from a recognized university in Economics;
- Prior experience working with donor-funded projects;
- Prior experience working with GOAM institutions is preferred, but not required;
- Professional level of verbal and written fluency in English and Armenian languages.
