ОПИСАНИЕ ДОЛЖНОСТИ:
Byblos Bank Armenia is looking for a Senior Tax Consultant to provide professional advice on tax and accounting issues occurred in different areas of the Bank.ОБЯЗАННОСТИ:
- Ensure the delivery of high quality reports to Tax Service;- Ensure that reports prepared by him/ her are completed in a timely and efficient manner with due respect to regulation requirements and industry best practices;
- Implement quality assurance of tax treatment applied to the Bank products and services;
- Critically follow up reports deadlines, regulation changes and any notes raised by regulators;
- Coordinate the department workflow during tax audits;
- Stay updated on Banking, Group, Tax and Central Bank regulation changes and ensure timely implementation of needed actions;
- Develop and couch the staff;
- Check/ prepare monthly/ quarterly tax reports;
- Responsible for tax control via implementation of tax reconciliations, spot checks, periodic reviews;
- Electronically submit tax reports via Tax Service website;
- Provide assistance in the implementation of new projects required for regulatory reporting purposes;
- Provide assistance in preparation of the CBA regular reports upon need;
- Assist the Head of Finance and Administration when needed;
- Perform ad hoc analytical tasks.
ТРЕБУЕМАЯ КВАЛИФИКАЦИЯ:
- Higher education in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field; ACCA is a plus;- At least 3 years of professional experience in accounting and tax compliance; experience in banking/ financial sector is preferable;
- In-depth knowledge of the banking and tax legislation;
- Knowledge of international financial reporting standards (IFRS) would be an asset;
- Good awareness of the AS (Armenian Software) bank application;
- Good writing skills in English and Armenian languages;
- Excellent analytical, planning and organizational skills;
- Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.);
- Accuracy and detail-orientation;
- Strong problem-solving skills;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work under pressure.
