Request for Proposals

DETAIL DESCRIPTION: 

CIPE will prioritize proposals that connect women across regions and advance democratic reforms that expand women’s leadership and participation in the economy. Proposed activities should align with such objectives as Advancing Economic Freedoms, Expanding Opportunity, Strengthening Economic and Democratic Resilience and address:
- Private-sector responses to barriers to women’s economic empowerment (e.g., removing legal, regulatory, and other political constraints that limit women’s full economic and political participation).
- Safe, technology-driven transformation that expands women’s economic opportunity and civic participation while mitigating risks for women in IT and use of AI.
- Strengthening the voice of women in business in conflict-affected and post-conflict settings, including entrepreneurship support for women among refugees and internally displaced persons (IDPs).
- Cross-regional and US-based connections, peer learning and coalition building among women’s business associations/chambers and the broader private sector.

REQUIREMENTS: 

Implementation period: July 1, 2026 – July 1, 2027
Concept note + budget: maximum 5 pages total (please use proposal and budget forms attached)
Deadline: May 30, 2026 (final applications due)
Funding: $5,000–$10,000 (new partners); up to $15,000 (current and former CIPE partners)
