Your Role
Children of Armenia Charitable Fund is looking for a skilled and analytical Donor Development Specialist to join its Development team. You will play a pivotal role in expanding the organization's donor base and cultivating strong relationships with existing donors. This position requires a strategic thinker with exceptional research and data analysis skills, who can effectively identify and engage potential donors and contribute to data-driven fundraising strategies․
ОБЯЗАННОСТИ: 
Donor Research (70%):
- Conduct comprehensive research and analysis to identify potential individual and corporate donors, utilizing existing and other databases, online resources, and industry trends;
- Utilize a donor management system to track and analyze donor information, generate reports, and identify trends and opportunities for donor engagement and solicitation;
- Stay abreast of emerging research and data analysis techniques in donor development, and provide recommendations for improving fundraising strategies and processes;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data collection and analysis efforts, providing insights and recommendations to enhance fundraising outcomes;
- Collaborate with the donor relationship managers to assess donor retention trends across key data points.
Donor Cultivation (30%):
- Develop and implement data-driven strategies to cultivate and steward major donors, ensuring personalized and effective engagement;
- Contribute to the development and implementation of prospect research protocols, ensuring ethical and compliant handling of donor data;
- Collaborate with the Communications team to create compelling fundraising materials, leveraging research and data analysis to customize messaging and approaches for different donor segments.

You have:
- Minimum 2-4 years of relevant experience, preferably in a non-profit and/ or marketing and sales environment;
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in donor development, major gifts, prospect research, or a related fundraising role, preferably within the nonprofit sector;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Armenian languages, including the ability to create data-driven fundraising materials and deliver persuasive presentations;
- Proficiency in using donor management software or customer relationship management (CRM) systems;
- Strong proficiency in utilizing various research tools, databases, and online resources to identify potential donors and gather relevant information.
