ОПИСАНИЕ ДОЛЖНОСТИ: 
Environmental Education Program Junior Trainer's main responsibilities are to develop and hold environmental education trainings in ATP Ohanian Centers for Environmental Studies and partner schools/ organizations; provide administrative and operational assistance to the Program trainers and the team.
ОБЯЗАННОСТИ: 
Objective I: Develop and hold Environmental Education (EE) trainings:
- Support the Program implementation team with carefully developed Plans and Modules for environmental education trainings, mentoring and coaching, peer learning and other methodologies (research, analysis and implementation);
- Work closely with the project team to integrate schoolchildren/ youth skill-building targets and activities into training design;
- Initiate and oversee small-scale community projects implemented by students and active youth in the urban and rural communities of Armenia (2018 target areas include but are not limited to Shirak, Lori, Gegharkunik, Aragatsotn, Kotayk, Ararat and Armavir marzes as well as Yerevan and Artsakh Republic).
Objective II: Assist the Program team:
- Assist in project and resource management in target areas;
- Provide program and administrative support to Program trainers and the team;
- Translate training materials when deemed necessary;
- Perform other job-related tasks/ assignments as assigned by the Program Manager;
- Analyze the collected information on a regular basis and submit the results to the Program team;
- Liaise with partner schools to monitor the implementation of activities in the target communities to ensure they are completed according to plan and in a timely and effective manner;
- Document all progress challenges and learning for future implementation.
ТРЕБУЕМАЯ КВАЛИФИКАЦИЯ: 
- Strong academic background (bachelor's degree or higher) in an environmental education relevant sector (e.g. Environmental Sciences, Biology, Physics and Chemistry, Geography, etc.);
- At least 1 year of experience in an NGO (or other organizations/ institutions) designing youth learning approaches (developing training modules and work plans tailored for the benefit community members affected by the global and local climate challenges);
- Experience in the field of training and skill-building among various target groups, namely schoolchildren and youth;
- Experience in working with socially and environmentally vulnerable populations is an advantage;
- Familiarity with core principles of environmental education;
- Knowledge of basic environmental challenges and opportunities;
- Good knowledge of Armenian and English languages; good communication skills, both oral and written; knowledge of Russian language is an asset;
- Good planning skills are highly appreciated;
- Motivation to work in environmental field and grow professionally, eagerness and quickness to learn;
- B category driving license is highly desirable.
