What WWF Armenia Does
WWF Armenia is an independent conservation organization, striving to sustain the natural world for the benefit of people and the ecosystem. Major Functions
The Facility Assistant / Driver supports the efficient operation and maintenance of WWF-Armenia’s office facilities and provides safe and reliable transportation services for staff and project activities. The position contributes to maintaining a functional, clean, and secure office environment while ensuring timely logistical and driving support.
Facility Support
- Assist in the daily smooth operation of office facilities;
- Support maintenance and minor repairs of office furniture, household goods, and equipment;
- Assist in monitoring office renovation or reconstruction works, when applicable;
- Help ensure cleanliness and organization of office premises; coordinate with service and cleaning staff;
- Maintain the office archive and support proper documentation and filing;
- Assist in arranging and maintaining the outdoor office area, including greenery and planting activities;
- Keep records of office generator usage and related expenditures;
- Monitor the technical condition of fire-fighting and other safety equipment;
- Support implementation of office security measures and follow up on security recommendations;
- Respond promptly to emergencies affecting office premises or property and notify relevant authorities as needed;
- Participate in bi-annual physical inventory of office property;
- Provide logistical and technical support for procurement and inventory management.
Driving and Transportation
- Drive staff to field locations, meetings, and other official destinations safely and punctually;
- Deliver and collect documents, materials, and equipment between offices, warehouses, and project sites;
- Ensure the assigned vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and adequately fueled;
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations;
- Assist with loading and unloading items as necessary;
- Report vehicle incidents, accidents, or maintenance needs promptly;
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism during all driving duties.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in facility support and/or driving roles;
- Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle type;
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting;
- Previous experience working in an international or non-governmental organization is an advantage.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Strong sense of responsibility, integrity, and commitment to duty;
- Proactive and reliable, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Good interpersonal and communication skills;
- Fluency in Armenian; basic English is an advantage;
- Good knowledge of routes and locations relevant to WWF-Armenia’s operations;
- Alignment with WWF’s core values:, Courage, Respect, Integrity and Collaboration.
Working Relationships
Internal: Works in close collaboration with the entire WWF-Armenia team.
External: Interacts with relevant service providers, vendors, and stakeholders as required.

ОБЯЗАННОСТИ:

ТРЕБУЕМАЯ КВАЛИФИКАЦИЯ:
- Technical college diploma or equivalent education in a relevant field (e.g., transport management, facility operations, or similar);- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in facility support and/or driving roles;
- Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle type;
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting;
- Previous experience working in an international or non-governmental organization is an advantage.
