ОПИСАНИЕ ДОЛЖНОСТИ: 
The Fundraising and Development Officer is a key part of Health For Armenia’s communication team, dedicated to mobilizing resources to support the organization’s mission of healthcare equity. Working closely with the Executive Director, Head of Communications and Board Members, the Development Officer will manage all aspects of donor relations, grant development, and fundraising campaigns. The Development Officer will work closely with the teams across the organization—including program team and Finance and Operations to implement a fundraising strategy and achieve targets.
About the Role:
The Fundraising and Development Officer will play a key role in advancing Health for Armenia’s fundraising and development strategy. This position is responsible for cultivating relationships with donors, sponsors, and partners, while creating sustainable revenue streams to support the organization’s growth and long-term impact.
The Fundraising and Development Officer will work to secure strong donor relations and retention. They will manage every stage of the fundraising process for their portfolio of accounts, including research, cultivation, and stewardship of donor relationships and communication (i.e. donor spotlights, etc.).
This is an external-facing role that requires a proactive, sales-oriented approach to rally support and secure financial resources for the organization. The role demands skills in relationship-building, communication, project management, and administration in similar areas.

Fundraising Strategy & Marketing (35%)
-Support the development and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy aligned with organizational goals.
-Create compelling fundraising and marketing materials to engage diverse audiences.
-Work collaboratively to align fundraising messaging with overall brand and mission.
-Stay informed about trends in fundraising, philanthropy, and nonprofit management.
-Design and implement international crowdfunding campaigns.
Donor Pipeline Management (20%)
-Identify, research, and cultivate relationships with new and existing donors, sponsors, and institutional partners, converting them into long-term champions for the organization’s mission.
-Expand, maintain and update a donor database to track outreach, pledges, and engagement.
-Ensure that donor records are maintained in compliance with confidentiality and data protection policies in the respective data platforms.
-Coordinate personalized donor outreach plans and communications.
Grant Writing & Proposal Development (20%)
-Ensure proper donor acknowledgment, recognition, and relationship management.
Oversee grant compliance, timely reporting, and monitoring of deliverables.
-Prepare financial and narrative reports in collaboration with the finance and program teams.
-Ensure timely and accurate submission of proposals and reports to funders, meeting all requirements and providing updates on program outcomes and impact.
Donor Stewardship & Reporting (10%)
- Ensure proper donor acknowledgment, recognition, and relationship management;
- Oversee grant compliance, timely reporting, and monitoring of deliverables;
- Prepare financial and narrative reports in collaboration with the finance and program teams;
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of proposals and reports to funders, meeting all requirements and providing updates on program outcomes and impact.
Campaigns & Fundraising Events (15%)
-Plan and coordinate fundraising campaigns across digital and offline platforms such as galas, auctions, and donor appreciation events.
-Organize donor events and engagement opportunities (online and in-person).
-Work with the Head of Communications to amplify campaign visibility and impact.
-Actively participate in organization-wide events and initiatives to contribute to the organizational culture and strategic objectives.
-Support cross-functional working groups and projects as needed, ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals
ТРЕБУЕМАЯ КВАЛИФИКАЦИЯ: 
-Experience in fundraising, donor relations, crowdfunding, nonprofit development, or similar areas.
-Proficiency in Armenian and English.
-Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
-Excellent communicator with first-class client relationship management, networking and public speaking skills.
-Capability of using digital fundraising systems and tools, including social media, databases, and online giving platforms.
-Capability of evaluating, maintaining, and improving data tools to ensure they align with the team’s needs, enabling the development of informed, data-driven strategies.
-Expertise in building and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders and public organizations. Proven ability to engage stakeholders and cultivate partnerships that align with the organization’s mission and goals.
-Expertise in planning, executing, and managing diverse initiatives, such as major campaigns, public events, crowdfunding efforts, and/or annual appeals, ensuring success through strategic outreach and engagement.
