Background
WWF Armenian Branch (WWF-Armenia) is WWF International’s branch in Armenia with efficient operating systems, professional and skilled staff, strong financial resources, delivering conservation impact on issues that are key for WWF Network Initiatives and other global conservation priorities. WWF-Armenia is guided by a strong conservation vision for the region.
Major Function
TheFundraising Officer is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing WWF-Armenia’s digital fundraising initiatives and supporting wider fundraising activities. This includes creating and optimizing digital campaigns, enhancing donor engagement through online platforms, contributing to proposal/grant development, supporting corporate partnership outreach (including the Business Club), and coordinating with the Face-to-Face (F2F) program to maximize income and retention.

Major Duties and Responsibilities
Digital Fundraising Strategy and Implementation
- Develop and implement a comprehensive digital fundraising strategy and action plan;
- Optimize fundraising activities, focusing on messaging, user journey, donation flows, and landing pages;
- Design, manage, and evaluate cost-effective digital campaigns to expand and enhance donor relationships;
- Coordinate digital touchpoints with offline efforts (e.g., F2F, events, corporate outreach) to provide a seamless donor experience.
Digital Campaigns and Promotions
- Develop and manage essential digital advertising and promotion (e.g., Google/Meta as appropriate), working within brand and data guidelines;
- Create and execute promotional strategies to drive one-off and regular giving, including email and website updates;
- Monitor and analyze performance; adjust tactics to achieve fundraising goals with a focus on ROI and donor quality.
Social Media Fundraising (streamlined)
- Coordinate with Communications to schedule fundraising asks and donation tools on existing channels;
- Provide short briefs and copy suggestions for priority appeals; track basic fundraising metrics from social activity.
Donor Engagement and Online Community Building
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with online donors and supporters;
- Promote one-off donations and regular giving through digital channels; support stewardship moments (thank-you emails/calls, updates);
- Support community-building around key conservation themes and campaigns in coordination with Communications.
Online Donor Journey and Campaign Development
- Maintain the online donor journey (welcome, upgrade, reactivation) and ensure a simple, reliable donation experience;
- Create and implement new appeals and mini-campaigns aligned to the annual calendar.
Annual Planning and Stakeholder Coordination
- Organize and manage the annual calendar for online communications and fundraising initiatives;
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders relevant to digital fundraising, including colleagues involved in grants, corporate partnerships, Business Club, and F2F to ensure consistent messaging and timing.
Donor Data Management
- Maintain and update donor information in the database accurately and efficiently;
- Ensure all donor records are current and complete, support data hygiene and simple dashboards for decision-making;
- Track and manage data related to donor contributions, cancellations, and updates.
Donor Communication
- Make calls to donors to confirm details, thank them for their contributions, and address any questions or concerns;
- Assist in the coordination of donor communication efforts, including sending thank-you letters and receipts;
- Handle routine inquiries from donors via phone and email.
Support Fundraising
- Contribute to drafting concept notes and grant proposals (sections such as problem/solution, activities, simple budgets, and results);
- Support corporate partnership development: prepare briefings and pitch materials, coordinate follow-ups, and help onboard members to WWF-Armenia’s Business Club (benefits, acknowledgments, updates);
- Assist with reporting inputs for donors/partners (basic data, stories, visuals) in collaboration with programme teams;
- Coordinate digital and F2F touchpoints (e.g., follow-up emails/SMS for sign-ups, upgrade/reactivation nudges);
- Support script/FAQ updates and quality assurance for donor communications in cooperation with the F2F team/agency;
- Monitor basic KPIs related to regular giving acquired via F2F (e.g., cancellations, failed payments) and coordinate remedies with relevant teams.
ТРЕБУЕМАЯ КВАЛИФИКАЦИЯ: 
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, management, PR, communications, humanities, or a related field;
- At least 2 years of professional experience in public fundraising, marketing, communications, project management, or a related field, with exposure to digital and/or donor-facing fundraising;
- Strong oral and written communication skills in both English and Armenian;
- Demonstrated successful experience in fundraising, proposal support, or high-value sales/partnerships is an advantage.
- Experience in an international organization is an advantage.
Required Skills and Competencies:

- In-depth knowledge of digital fundraising platforms;
- Proficiency in digital advertising tools (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads);
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and strategies;
