ОПИСАНИЕ ДОЛЖНОСТИ: 
Tetra Tech ES, Inc. Branch in Armenia is seeking a Gender, Youth and Training Specialist to support all gender and youth inclusion and training activities under the USAID Energy Secure Armenia Activity.
The purpose of USAID’s Energy Secure Armenia Activity (“the Activity) is to bolster Armenia’s energy security by promoting a shift to renewable energy sources (RES), further power market liberalization and trade, and promote greater energy efficiency. This is done by assisting the Government of Armenia (GOAM), the Public Service Regulatory Commission (PSRC), the private sector, and other energy stakeholders to diversify the country’s energy supply, reduce dependence on imported gas, and lessen greenhouse gas emissions, enabling the Armenian energy sector to serve as a vehicle of long-term economic growth.
This position involves a part-time consultancy, and hiring may be contingent upon USAID approval. Interested candidates must be eligible to work in Armenia. Tetra Tech values a diverse workplace and strives to achieve gender equality. Qualified women and men are strongly encouraged to apply.
ОБЯЗАННОСТИ: 
- Lead implementation and updates of the Activity’s gender and youth analysis and action plan and ensure compliance with USAID ADS 205 and Positive Youth Development (PYD) approach, including but not limited to policy review, awareness-raising and trainings;
- Lead integration of USAID’s ADS 205 and PYD in all relevant Activity interventions and serve as primary point of contact for gender and youth on team;
- Coordinate and serve as primary point of contact of Activity’s internship program for university students pursuing energy studies;
- Review, design, and provide input into technical deliverables and products, including but not limited to workplans, technical knowledge and communications products, training or other course content, concept notes, etc. with gender and youth inclusion lenses;
- Work collaboratively with colleagues on developing deliverables and ensuring gender and youth integration in Activity interventions;
- Engage relevant public, private and other donor stakeholders on gender and youth inclusion topics in the Armenian energy sector;
- Support efforts to ensure that design and implementation of integration renewable energy/energy efficiency pilots and related training and awareness activities include women and youth;
- Provide ad-hoc gender expertise support and capacity building to colleagues as needed;
- Organize and support the design and facilitation of trainings and capacity-building events on a variety of topics, including legal-regulatory reform, renewable energy sources and energy efficiency;
- Coordinate the Activity’s outreach to GOAM, USAID, and other energy sector stakeholders related to planning and conducting trainings;
- Contribute to data collection and verification for the Activity’s monitoring, evaluation and learning efforts;
- Support monitoring of activities to ensure that activities do not cause harm to any particular social group and produce lessons learned and success stories from implementing gender- and youth-sensitive activities;
- Contribute to Activity communications products and success stories;
- Contribute to annual Activity work planning;
- Provide inputs on all monthly, quarterly, annual USAID reports, ad-hoc communications or client requests dealing with gender, youth and training topics;
- Engage and participate in meetings with other Tetra Tech gender and youth inclusion specialists;
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
ТРЕБУЕМАЯ КВАЛИФИКАЦИЯ: 
- Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, Political Science, Public Policy or field related to gender and youth;
- At least 5 years of experience in a gender, youth or training specialist role;
- Proven track record of organizing and facilitating trainings and capacity-building events;
- Fluency in Armenian and English languages with strong reading, writing and presentation skills;
- Experience with Microsoft Office;
- Excellent time management and organizational skills;
- High level of professionalism and tactfulness.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree in sociology, political science, public policy or field related to gender and youth;
- Certificate or additional education in gender and youth studies;
- Experience in working on USAID-or other donor-funded projects;
- Experience in and knowledge of Armenia’s energy sector.
