ОПИСАНИЕ ДОЛЖНОСТИ: 
Armenian Red Cross Society is looking for a Social Worker within the framework of the Project "Psychosocial Support of TB Patients, Active Case Finding and Decrease of Stigma and Discrimination".
ОБЯЗАННОСТИ: 
- Provide socio-psychological counseling to TB patients and their family members to improve TB treatment adherence;
- Carry out a comprehensive assessment of the social needs of TB patients;
- Advocate for TB patients in finding solutions for the social problems and consult the patients on their social wrights;
- Cooperate closely with TB healthcare providers for continuous educational and counseling services for the patients;
- Act as a focal point between TB patients, medical personnel and other social services.
ТРЕБУЕМАЯ КВАЛИФИКАЦИЯ: 
- At least a bachelor's degree in Social Work;
- Excellent knowledge of ethical norms as well as excellent skills to communicate with the medical staff, patients and their relatives;
- Excellent knowledge of oral and written Armenian language; knowledge of Russian and English languages are considered as a privilege;
- Ability to work with a computer (Microsoft Office).

О ПРОГРАММЕ: 
"Psychosocial Support of TB Patients, Active Case Finding and Decrease of Stigma and Discrimination" is a project being conducted by Armenian Red Cross Society and funded by The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria. The main goals of the Project are the following: close partnership with community leaders and health workers and active case finding, psychological support to TB patients, who are not adherent to treatment, as well as psychosocial support to all TB patients and their families, decreasing of stigma and discrimination of TB patients in general population.
