Regional Training/Seminar

ՄԱՆՐԱՄԱՍՆ ՆԿԱՐԱԳՐՈւԹՅՈւՆ՝ 

The Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE), in partnership with the Center for the Study of Democracy (CSD), is pleased to announce a two-day regional training seminar focused on countering corrosive capital and illicit financial flows.

The training will bring together economic think tanks from Armenia, Georgia and Moldova to strengthen analytical, policy, and advocacy capacities in addressing emerging economic security risks.

Key themes include:

- Illicit Financial Flows (IFFs) and corrosive capital typologies
- Investment security and strategic economic influence
- Trade misinvoicing and data analysis methods
- Data visualization and communication
- Regional case study simulations

The seminar will be delivered by leading experts from the Center for the Study of Democracy: Dr. Vanya Petrova/https://csd.eu/experts/expert/Vanya-Petrova/ and Dr. Tihomira Kostova/https://csd.eu/experts/expert/Tihomira-Kostova/

Format: In-person, interactive, applied
Methodology: Hands-on exercises, datasets, regional casework, and simulation.

For participants from regions of Armenia: transportation and hotel will be fully covered.

The training seminar is implemented as part of the ”Responding to Threats of Corrosive Capital in Armenia. Phase III” project, funded with UK International Development from the UK government.

ՊԱՀԱՆՋՆԵՐ՝ 

Applications are welcome from:

- Representatives of economic think tanks and policy research institutions.
- Civil society organizations working on governance, anti-corruption, or economic policy
- Policy analysts and researchers engaged in investment, trade, or financial integrity issues

Priority will be given to applicants from Armenia’s regions and those actively working on topics related to economic governance, investment security, and illicit financial flows.
