JOB DESCRIPTION: 
The USAID My Armenia Program is looking for a part-time Yerevan-based English language Editor and Creative Writer, who will support the Program. The incumbent will help the Program with his/ her English language publications and online posts by reviewing and editing English language texts.
RESPONSIBILITIES: 
- Ensure there are no errors in the text;
- Edit the text to make it easy to read and fit the Program's editorial style;
- Take existing text and write longer or shorter form text descriptions for other publication purposes;
- Write original text about the activities and cultural heritage tourism experiences being developed by the Program as assigned by the Chief of Party (COP).
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 
- Native or near-to-native reading, writing and speaking skills in English language;
- At least 5 years of experience in editing and writing in English language;
- At least a bachelor's degree in English Language or a related field;
- Creative writing experience;
- Ability to work independently with only periodic guidance to achieve assigned responsibilities based on assigned tasks;
- Experience in traveling internationally or within Armenia when developing content or for some other purpose applicable is a plus.
