YOUR ROLE
If you are a motivated leader with strong management experience and the ability to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the COAF SMART Center in Lori Region — while maintaining effective collaboration with COAF’s Yerevan office — then the role of SMART Center Manager is the perfect opportunity for you. You will be responsible for overseeing all educational, administrative, financial, and operational processes of the Center — ensuring that every activity aligns with the SMART concept, standards, and long-term vision. Your duties will include:
ՊԱՐՏԱԿԱՆՈւԹՅՈւՆՆԵՐ՝ 
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Team Leadership & Coordination
- Lead and coordinate all educational, administrative (including financial and operational) activities of the SMART Center, ensuring alignment with the SMART initiative’s concept.
- Maintain strong communication and coordination across all units of the SMART Center by overseeing the work of the staff.
- Ensure the Center’s smooth daily operation; respond quickly to issues and provide effective solutions.
- Together with COAF leadership, participate in selecting educational and administrative staff for the SMART Center and organize staff onboarding and training.
- Supervise and continuously monitor the quality of work performed by SMART Center employees.
2. Program Planning & Implementation
- Coordinate the development of new educational programs, as well as the review, revision, and improvement of existing ones, and present the final results.
- Develop the SMART Center’s annual work plan and advancement strategy and support their implementation within the team.
- Participate in the preparation of the Center’s annual budget and ensure efficient use and management of financial resources.
- Participate in equipping the SMART Center with the necessary materials and equipment, ensuring that they meet the needs of the educational programs.
3․ Program, Administrative & Financial Reporting
- Prepare and submit quarterly and annual reports on the Center’s educational programs to COAF leadership.
- Oversee the financial operations of the SMART initiative in line with the approved budget; approve payment and contract requests and prepare financial reports in accordance with COAF procedures.
- Participate in the development of grant proposals related to the SMART initiative.
4․ Partnerships & Collaboration
- Coordinate COAF’s program activities and related work that support the operation of the SMART Center in Lori.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with SMART Center partners, government institutions, relevant authorities, and local communities.
- Collaborate closely with COAF teams to apply regional program experience, align overlapping activities, and ensure effective use of available human resources.
- Work with the SMART Programs team to research local and international best practices and involve partners and stakeholders to strengthen the SMART initiative.
- Collaborate with COAF’s Communications team to maintain effective communication with partners, the public, and the media, and to increase awareness of the SMART initiative.

YOU HAVE
- More than 5 years of experience in mid- or senior-level management roles, enabling you to manage diverse and complex programs.
- Strong analytical skills, allowing you to interpret data and make informed decisions while setting clear priorities.
- Proficiency in using the GSuite platform for daily work and team coordination.
- Excellent organizational skills to structure and manage work based on priorities.
- Experience working with data, including analysis, interpretation, and practical application.
- Proven experience leading large teams and ensuring smooth daily operations.
- A problem-solving mindset, enabling you to approach challenges with creativity and innovation, even when solutions are not immediately obvious.
YOU CAN
- Understand and respond to the development needs and reform priorities of rural communities.
- Navigate and apply the specifics of the education sector, including trends in non-formal education.
- Communicate effectively in Armenian and English (both at an excellent level), in written and spoken form. Knowledge of Russian is considered an advantage.
- Apply project management principles and methodologies in your daily work.
