The candidate will join a Siemens engineering team and develop and maintain software products used by electrical engineers in the design and simulation of high-speed printed circuit boards.ՊԱՐՏԱԿԱՆՈւԹՅՈւՆՆԵՐ՝
- Design, develop, modify, and enhance product software with a focus on surpassing customer expectations and achieving high-quality and on-time delivery;- Self-test delivered code to achieve high initial quality; work with quality-assurance team to enable further testing and robusting;
- Find creative solutions to complex problems; work successfully with existing code, refactoring or rearchitecting as needed;
- Work cooperatively on a team, but also on individual projects with latitude for independent judgment and technical contribution;
- Write functional specifications and design documentation;
- Participate in reviews and inspections of designs, specifications, and code.
ԱՆՀՐԱԺԵՇՏ ՈՐԱԿԱՎՈՐՈՒՄՆԵՐ՝
- MS in Software Engineering or Computer Science, or related field/experience;- Extensive practical experience in software development is required;
- Experience participating in team-oriented projects is preferable;
- Background/experience in EDA (electronic design automation) or CAD/CAM is a plus, but not required;
- Deep understanding of software-development basics, including algorithms and data structures, OOD/OOP, and design patterns;
- Practical knowledge of C++ language, Microsoft Visual Studio, MFC, ATL, STL is essential;
- Experience with OpenGL or BCG and Stingray toolkits is a plus;
- Practical knowledge of scripting languages, especially Python, is a plus;
- Some experience with source control and bug-tracking tools is required;
- Linux experience is a plus;
- English language skills (intermediate) are required;
- Strong communication skills are required;
- Technical writing skills (requirements, functional specifications) are a plus;
- Good problem-solving and self-management skills;
- Ability to learn quickly.
