ԱՇԽԱՏԱՆՔԻ ՆԿԱՐԱԳԻՐ՝ 

Internews seeks an Office Manager for the Media Program in Armenia, a media development project focused on strengthening the integrity of the information space in Armenia. The project will enhance the professional and organizational capacity of media outlets to strengthen their editorial independence and increase their reach and impact across Armenian society through quality content. The project will provide support to improve the financial viability of editorially independent media and help institutionalize a funding source for public interest media; advance media literacy efforts to empower citizens and civic and political leaders to consume and engage with information critically and understand the role of ethical media. The Office Manager will ensure smooth office operations, logistical support for project staff and events, and assist with programmatic and administrative tasks across all Project activities. The position will report to the Finance Manager based in Yerevan, Armenia.

ՊԱՐՏԱԿԱՆՈւԹՅՈւՆՆԵՐ՝ 

- Manage the daily operations of the Internews’ Armenia office, including ordering supplies, greeting and otherwise assisting visitors, distributing mail, etc.;
- Manage the maintenance of all office equipment;
- Schedule and handle logistics for meetings and events as requested;
- In coordination with other project staff and third-party vendors, manage logistics and communications for project events (e.g. conferences, trainings, workshops), including liaising with and gathering information for contracts and payments from vendors and speakers/trainers, sending out informational updates to participants, arranging travel and hotels, on-site event management, etc.;
- Coordinate with other project and Headquarters staff to track staff travel and consultant visits and facilitate their contracting, travel, and payments;
- Assist programmatic staff in developing official documentation, such as communications materials, memos, etc.;
- Compile and submit VAT reimbursement requests;
- Represent Internews at meetings and events as assigned;
- Follow Internews guidelines on data security;
- Perform other tasks as assigned;
- In all duties, an understanding of and demonstrated commitment to upholding Internews' Core Values.

ԱՆՀՐԱԺԵՇՏ ՈՐԱԿԱՎՈՐՈՒՄՆԵՐ՝ 

- Minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience;
- University degree or equivalent lived/professional experience;
- Fluency in Armenian is required;
- Strong organizational, administrative and communication skills, including writing, grammar, and interpersonal skills;
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and other common software and web applications;
- Ability to work with sensitive data and confidential information;
- Proven ability to operate effectively in a multicultural environment using remote collaboration and communication tools;
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
