ԱՇԽԱՏԱՆՔԻ ՆԿԱՐԱԳԻՐ՝ 
The past and recent escalation of the Nagorno-Karabakh (NK) conflict has resulted in a complex Explosive Ordnance (EO) contamination in the conflict-affected areas and in the Armenian communities situated along the border. The EO contamination consists of a wide range of rockets, missiles and artillery projectiles, as well as cluster munitions and legacy contamination with predominantly landmines from past fights. There are also unconfirmed reports of new use of anti-personnel and anti-vehicle mines and incendiary munitions.
The Humanitarian Mine Action (HMA) is seen as an urgent and critical activity to avoid accidents and to ensure the safety of the people and recovery of the affected communities. UNDP has therefore been requested by the Government of Armenia to provide mine-action related support, including non-technical survey, area clearance and land release, capacity development and explosive ordnance risk reduction.
UNDP requires a Project Coordinator (PC), responsible for the implementation, planning and financial delivery of the project, including support to interaction with the key UNDP partners, Donors and stakeholders.
The Project Coordinator will be responsible for the project implementation, including planning, financial delivery, recruitment of the experts/ consultants, procurement of goods and services, and reporting. The work will be carried out in line with the Project Document and in full compliance with UNDP Rules and Regulations.
ՊԱՐՏԱԿԱՆՈւԹՅՈւՆՆԵՐ՝ 
- Support the Chief Technical Specialist (CTS) in ensuring that progress is made in achieving goals and objectives of the project and related activities;
- Support the CTS in drafting project reports to the implementing and responsible partners and funding organizations on the substantive, financial and operational status of the project;
- Manage and monitor the financial performance of the Project, ensuring delivery, as per the project budget;
- Ensure efficient operation of the Project Unit, including recruitment of the project national and international consultants and subcontractors, as well as timely delivery of the project outcomes/outputs;
- Develop detailed project work plan and relevant activities as per outputs; ensure efficient and timely implementation of those activities;
- Provide substantive support in the development of the project monitoring plan in line with the requirements indicated in the project document; support in undertaking the project independent midterm and final evaluations;
- Ensure implementation of the project communication plan and visibility requirements;
- Prepare and submit reports to the implementing and responsible partners, UNDP, and funding organization on the financial and operational status of the Project according to the requirements stated in the agreement, M&E plan;
- Lead, supervise and monitor the project implementation process;
- Ensure organization of project board meetings, workshops, prepare briefing notes, background papers and make presentations;
- Support CTS in developing critical partnerships and networks for the specific thematic areas;
- Provide input and contribute to the preparation of policy papers, corporate planning and reporting tools, resource mobilization and advocacy materials;
- Provide support and contribute to the formulation of project strategies and proposals in the related fields;
- Act as project assets custodian and ensure that the project assets are properly inventoried and reported to UNDP;
- Perform other job-related duties as required by UNDP.
ԱՆՀՐԱԺԵՇՏ ՈՐԱԿԱՎՈՐՈՒՄՆԵՐ՝ 
- Master’s degree in Economics, Business/ Public Administration, Social Science or related disciplines;
- Bachelor's degree with additional 2 years of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of master's degree;
- 2 years (with master’s degree) of relevant work experience at national or international level in the field of project management;
- 4 years (with bachelor’s degree) of relevant work experience at national or international level in the field of project management;
- Hands-on experience in design, monitoring and evaluation of development projects;
- Experience in development of analytical documents, briefs and project proposals;
- Excellent written and oral communication skills;
- Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.) and knowledge of spreadsheet and database packages, experience in handling of web-based management systems;
- Fluency in Armenian and English languages.
