ОПИСАНИЕ ДОЛЖНОСТИ

AmCham Armenia is pleased to announce an opening for the position of Member Relations & Communications Lead.
This role is ideal for a proactive, organized, and people-oriented professional who will play a key role in strengthening AmCham Armenia’s membership base, communications, and engagement with the business community.
ОБЯЗАННОСТИ
: 
- Define a targeted plan for recruiting new AmCham Armenia members and monitor the implementation of this plan;
- Recruit new members, develop relationships with existing members, and increase member engagement, contributing to membership growth and potential sponsorship opportunities;
- Establish strong relationships with AmCham Armenia members, respond to inquiries in a timely manner, and refer them to the Executive Director when necessary;
- Maintain an accurate membership management system;
- Plan and organize meetings with members, prospective members, and representatives of the business community; conduct email correspondence with members on behalf of AmCham Armenia and request information from members when necessary;
- Work with the Executive Director to plan and conduct member surveys and obtain other necessary information when required;
- Assist the Executive Director with archiving and maintaining records and documents;
- Support the organization of events;
- Ensure accurate distribution of email communications within the AmCham Armenia community and manage AmCham Armenia’s general email operations (
info@armcham.am);
- Prepare AmCham Armenia membership agreements and notifications (invoices) on a monthly basis;
- Monitor the timely payment of AmCham Armenia membership fees;
- Perform other functions to support the AmCham Board and Executive Director, and assist with general office operations as needed;
- Organize thematic seminars and “Be My Guest” events.
- Organize the preparation and publication of AmCham’s business magazine, propose magazine themes for Board approval, collect and translate materials and articles, conduct interviews, collaborate with members and non-members on beneficial advertising placements, and manage high-quality printing at the best cost;
- Participate in working groups and conferences together with the Executive Director.
ТРЕБУЕМАЯ КВАЛИФИКАЦИЯ
: 
- Master’s degree in Communications, Business, Economics, or a related field;
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the private sector, non-profit, or an international organization;
- Strong understanding of the U.S. business community, including leading firms, growth sectors, and major economic and policy issues;
- Proven ability to build relationships and work comfortably with senior executives and high-profile stakeholders;
- Strong communication, teamwork, and negotiation skills;
- Excellent written and spoken Armenian and English; knowledge of additional languages is an asset;
- Proactive attitude with the ability to identify creative solutions, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines;
- Strong sense of cultural diversity and international business etiquette;
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
