JOB DESCRIPTION: 
JI is seeking individuals for 3 to 5 positions of Research Analysts at its Yerevan Office. Japonica Intersectoral Research Analysts consistently provide high value-added Executive Briefs and Research Reviews strengthening democracy and free enterprise throughout the NIS. Our Research Analysts go through an intensive initial training process.Japonica Interectoral's internal processes and ongoing training continually drive Research Analysts to develop their research and analytical skills while building sector-specific knowledge.
RESPONSIBILITIES: 
- Produce high quality value-added Executive Briefs and Research Reviews to better serve JI membership base
- Provide Executive Briefs and Research Reviews in accordance with a process checklist to ensure consistency of format and quality of deliverable
- Meet the deadlines and the specified quality
- Develop research and analytical skills building sector-specific knowledge
- Coordinate content development and maintain report review procedure set by Research Manager
- Participate in peer review process according to process checklist
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 
- Advanced university degree in business, engineering and social sciences or in other relevant field
- Experience in research and consulting is a plus
- Experience in international organizations is a plus
- Ability to draft, proofread and edit with accuracy; detail oriented
- Excellent oral and written skills in English, Armenian and Russian
- Computer skills include word processing, spreadsheet and presentation
- Flexibility to handle a variety of tasks and shift priorities simultaneously
- Ability to work under pressure with continuous quality improvement

SELECTION PROCESS:
Japonica Intersectoral will recruit local professionals from the graduates of leading business, engineering, and graduate university programs.
Potential recruits will be invited to an informational session, evaluated for criteria necessary to succeed within Japonica Intersectoral, and select individuals will be interviewed.
Top professionals who successfully complete the recruiting process will be offered a position with Japonica Intersectoral and undergo a training and evaluation process under a mentoring Research Analyst and Research Manager to develop skills necessary to contribute to our organization.
Upon successful completion of the training process new Research Analysts should be ready to begin producing Executive Briefs and Research Reviews.
Our initial training process is essential to our new Research Analysts. We will continually challenge our Research Analysts with quantitative modeling, sector specific analysis, analytical writing, and presentation. In addition to our initial training process, a wide variety of resources are available for continuous betterment and improvement of our Research Analysts.
Research Analysts will receive performance reviews and be provided with opportunities for advancement.
