JOB DESCRIPTION: 
Strategic Development Agency is seeking a talented Communication Specialist to join its team and play a proactive role in advancing the organization's communication efforts. This role will support the project management team in executing comprehensive communication and visibility plans for donor-funded projects focused on rural and agricultural development.
RESPONSIBILITIES: 
- Collaborate with the project management team and stakeholders to implement communication and visibility strategies, ensuring alignment with donor requirements, particularly for EU-funded projects;
- Lead the implementation of the Project Communication Strategy by executing activities outlined in the Action Plan. Work closely with the Project Team representing project donors, partners and stakeholders to maintain alignment and effective coordination;
- Disseminate project achievements and activities effectively to stakeholders through various communication channels;
- Prepare press releases and informational materials for awareness-raising campaigns, events, and organizational updates;
- Ensure the organization’s/project’s website and social media platforms are regularly updated with project achievements and activities;
- Develop and share success stories, beneficiary stories, and other targeted informational materials to meet the needs of donors and stakeholders;
- Organize, coordinate, and produce high-quality printed, electronic, video, and audio materials in compliance with project requirements;
- Respond promptly to communication requests from donors and project stakeholders, providing accurate and relevant information;
- Foster strong collaboration with media representatives to maximize visibility and awareness of project initiatives;
- Perform additional tasks assigned by the Project Team Leader to support seamless project implementation and communication success.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field;
- At least 3 years of proven experience in a communications role, preferably in a managerial or specialist capacity within donor-funded projects; experience with EU-funded projects is an advantage;
- 2+ years of experience managing social media platforms and developing/updating website content;
- Familiarity with agriculture or natural resource management is advantageous;
- Proficiency in communication tools and software, with experience in social media management and content creation;
-Knowledge of analytics tools to assess and improve the effectiveness of communication strategies;
- Familiarity with the EU electronic DG Tool system is an advantage;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in Armenian and English;
- Strong organizational, administrative, and time management abilities;
- Effective team player with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills;
- Willingness and ability to travel for site visits within Armenia, stakeholder meetings, and off-site engagements.
