JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Specialist in collecting and analyzing economic data to understand the economic systems in the headquarters country.- Make recommendations to the mission.
- Data collection and analysis: Study statistics (e.g. inflation rates, growth, unemployment, and GDP) to understand general trends.
- Model preparation: Using econometric techniques to foresight the future.
- Policy Evaluation: Criticizing and evaluating the decisions of governments and central banks and predicting their effects on markets.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Using statistical analysis tools and advanced software such as Excel, R, and Python;- Mastering macroeconomic and microeconomic theories, along with a deep understanding of government policies;
- Strong relations with Armenian businessmen (important);
- He/ She speaks English and Armenian;
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an economic researcher;
- Experience in analyzing economic reports and attracting investment opportunities (important).
