4 hours daily, with the possibility of remote work
JOB DESCRIPTION: 
Media Initiatives Center seeks a qualified candidate to produce the English version of its Media.am website and to translate content. Media.am is a unique professional platform specialized in media analysis, journalistic ethics and media literacy. The website has been active since 2000.
RESPONSIBILITIES: 
- Pick and translate content for the English version of the website;
- When necessary, reduce or add text so that the English language audience has a comprehensive understanding of the theme;
- Post the translated content on the Media.am website;
- Perform other job-related duties as required, be the integral part of the organization’s daily work, support other activities when necessary.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 
- University degree and at least 5 years of professional experience in translation, experience in media and related fields is a plus;
- Native knowledge of the English language is a plus;
- Strong knowledge of translating and editing journalistic content;
- Creativity, motivation, critical thinking skills;
- Ability to work as a team member, to work independently and to keep deadlines;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Armenian.
