JOB DESCRIPTION: 
The primary objective of the expert is to deliver three one-day comprehensive educational workshops to first responders, such as social workers, psychologists, etc. on Humanitarian principles in Syunik, Gegharkunik, Tavush and Vayots Dzor regions.
In the context of the social-economic situation in the RA, displaced populations of Nagorno-Karabakh face significant challenges in accessing essential services, protection, and resources. Social workers play a critical role in supporting displaced people and ensuring their dignity and rights are upheld. This training aims to equip social workers with the necessary knowledge and skills to adhere to the core humanitarian principles, enabling them to provide effective support to displaced individuals and communities.
This workshop aims to equip social workers with the knowledge and tools to apply these core humanitarian principles in their daily work, improving the effectiveness of their interventions and enhancing the protection and well-being of displaced individuals.
RESPONSIBILITIES: 
-Design and develop content:
Create engaging and contextually appropriate educational materials and presentations on humanitarian principles and how they can be applied in daily work.
-Conduct workshop sessions:
a) Deliver interactive training sessions to social workers, focusing on humanitarian principles.
b) Use varied teaching methods such as group discussions, demonstrations, and participatory exercises, such as case studies and role-playing exercises.
-Assess knowledge:
Evaluate participants' understanding through quizzes, informal assessments, and feedback forms to measure training effectiveness.
-Provide resources:
Distribute brochures, handouts, posters, and other materials to reinforce key learning objectives.
-Support implementation:
Offer follow-up guidance and address participants’ questions on applying humanitarian principles in their daily work.
-Deliverables:
Workshop Plan:
A detailed outline covering workshop objectives, content, methods, and timeline.
-Educational Materials:
Development of high-quality training resources, including participant handouts, presentation slides, and practical tools to support learning and engagement throughout the sessions.
-Development of Evaluation Tools
Design and implementation of evaluation instruments such as pre- and post-training assessments, feedback forms, and participant surveys to measure learning outcomes, engagement levels, and overall program effectiveness.
-Session Reports:
Summaries of each session with feedback, attendance, and recommendations.
-Final Report:
A comprehensive evaluation report of the overall training program, detailing outcomes achieved, challenges encountered, lessons learned and recommendations of future initiatives.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 
- Academic background in humanitarian studies, IHL (International Humanitarian Law), social work, or a related field. Possession of relevant certifications is considered an asset;
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience delivering training or workshops in humanitarian or social sectors;
- Solid understanding of humanitarian principles and standards;
- Strong facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to adapt training materials for different audiences, including adult learners;
- Fluency in Armenian and English.
