JOB DESCRIPTION: 
The GESI Coordinator will support the project team to ensure that gender equality and social inclusion principles are systematically integrated across all stages of project planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation. The position aims to strengthen inclusive practices, enhance participation of women, youth and marginalized groups, and contribute to achieving equitable and sustainable project outcomes.
RESPONSIBILITIES: 
The job responsibilities of the GESI coordinator include, but are not limited to the following:
- Support project teams in integrating GESI considerations into all project activities, tools and processes;
- Review project documents, workplans and reports to ensure alignment with organizational and donor GESI requirements;
- Provide technical advice to staff and partners on inclusive approaches and ensure that interventions address barriers to participation for women and disadvantaged groups;
- Organize and facilitate GESI-related trainings, workshops and awareness sessions for project staff, partners and beneficiaries;
- Develop practical tools, guidelines and materials to build internal capacity on gender and inclusion-sensitive programmingp;
- Support the collection and analysis of sex-, age- and diversity-disaggregated data across project indicators;
- Contribute to monitoring and evaluation frameworks to track progress on gender and inclusion outcomes;
- Prepare periodic GESI reports and inputs for donor reports highlighting achievements, challenges and lessons learned;
- Coordinate with local partners, government institutions and community organizations to promote inclusive participation;
- Facilitate consultations with women, youth and marginalized groups to ensure their perspectives inform project design and implementation;
- Document and share best practices, case studies and success stories related to gender and social inclusion;
- Contribute to organizational learning and strategy development on GESI mainstreaming.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 
- University degree in Social Science, Public Relations, Communications or in a related area;
- At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in implementing or supporting GESI initiatives within development projects;
- Strong understanding of gender equality, social inclusion and rights-based approaches;
- Experience with capacity building, participatory facilitation and community engagement;
- Experience in working with governmental structures, mass media, donor organizations, non-governmental organizations and private sector;
- Commitment to promoting gender equality, inclusion and diversity;
- Excellent communication, analytical and interpersonal skills;
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, tact and high sense of responsibility;
- Good time management skills;
- Sensitivity to local cultural contexts and dynamics;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to clearly express ideas in oral and written forms, accuracy in task implementation and concentration;
- Strategic and creative mindset;
- Ability and willingness to travel across the regions of RA;
- Ability to work under pressure and with strict deadlines;
- Ability to establish and maintain working relations in a team and independently;
- Fluency in English and Armenian languages;
- Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office and related business and communication tools;
- Understanding of the rural development context in Armenia is a plus.
