JOB DESCRIPTION: 
The Central Bank of Armenia is looking for a Head of Division for the Analysis and Protection of Competition in the Financial Sector to join the Licensing and Corporate Finance team.
RESPONSIBILITIES: 
- Responsible for detection, prevention and elimination of alleged abuses of dominance, concerted practices, coordination of economic activities, abuse of strong bargaining power and unfair competition;
- Responsible for assessments of concentrations and acquisition of significant participation in financial institutions, adoption of the relevant decisions;
- Develop the Central Bank’s secondary legislation on protection of competition in financial sector;
- Responsible for regulatory impact analysis for financial regulations in view of their possible effect on competition;
- Responsible for market studies in financial sector, development of the relevant methodologies.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 
- University degree in Economics, Law or related fields;
- At least 6 years of work experience in financial sector or related fields;
- Advanced knowledge of:
a) Microeconomics;
b) Antitrust legislation;
c) Financial intuitions’ operations and activities;
d) Legislative framework governing the regulation of financial system and its participants;
- Superb skills in financial analysis.
