JOB DESCRIPTION: 
Digitain is looking for an IT Production Support Team Leader to join its fast-growing team. The incumbent will be responsible for coordinating production support activities for all major systems and related subsystems. This role requires deep technical understanding of architecture and environments supported.
RESPONSIBILITIES: 
- Carry out all necessary research and in-depth analysis to resolve issues within the specified SLAs;
- Assign/ escalate technical issues to appropriate parties, involve appropriate resources for issue resolution;
- Monitor and administrate production systems on daily basis;
- Maintain ownership until resolution of technical issue;
- Respond immediately to security or usability issues;
- Assist all internal customers/ employees by providing production support;
- Perform tests on all installation processes for production infrastructure;
- Cooperate with IT department, developers and external vendors to ensure effective application services and reliability of all applications;
- Make recommendations and perform daily production support tasks' automation;
- Develop system administration guidelines, procedures and policies;
- Evaluate production support processes and participate in process improvements;
- Prioritize workload, provide timely and accurate resolutions;
- Develop and setup internal and external monitoring for production systems;
- Manage Web servers, SSL and DNS configuration;
- Participate in periodic on-call duties.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 
- Technical background, graduate degree in a relevant field;
- At least 5 years of proven experience in installing, managing and monitoring complex network infrastructures that include one or more of the following: Windows Server 2012 R2/ 2016, IIS 7+, monitoring systems;
- Full understanding of all steps of clients and servers' architectures;
- Full understanding and experience with the OSI model and/ or TCP/IP stack;
- Solid working knowledge of IP Networking, including DNS, Virtualization, Cloud, BGP, switches, and routers;
- Solid knowledge of the scripting languages PowerShell, Bash, Python;
- Solid working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases concepts;
- Experience in managing mission-critical globally distributed setup while concurrently serving large user base of internal and external users;
- Understanding of servers and network performance using monitoring and troubleshooting tools and techniques;
- Good knowledge of English and Russian languages;
- Ability to work under high pressure and meet deadlines;
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills ;
- Team player;
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
