About the position

RWI is seeking candidates for Junior Programme Associate at 50% (20 hours per week) at its office in Yerevan, Armenia. The Junior Programme Associate will report to the Senior Programme Associate and provide administrative support to RWI’s activities to facilitate the efficient planning, implementation and follow-up of the programmes.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

- Assist with logistical and administrative arrangements relating to the implementation of training, workshops, conferences, fellowships, academic research and other activities, including but not limited to: making travel arrangements; identifying and booking activity venues; communication with and necessary administrative support to resource persons, participants and partners; preparing, sourcing and ordering equipment and materials; collecting and filing activity documentation; and preparing and summarising information for reports.
- Maintain and file records of expenditure, process invoices and claims for payments and track payments relating to the carrying out of programme activities.
- Prepare mid-term and final information on programme expenditures.
- Assist with administrating office affairs, including in relation to maintenance, stationery and consumables.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience of administrative or service-oriented work;
- Demonstrated experience supporting logistics for events, trainings, meetings, or similar activities;
- Experience maintaining organised financial and administrative records;
- Strong organisational skills with proven ability to manage tasks and deadlines simultaneously;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office;
- Service-orientated mindset with a proactive and supportive approach to teamwork;
- Fluency in Armenian and English languages;
- Cultural sensitivity and respect for diversity.

Desirable qualifications:

- Experience working with international organisations, NGOs, academic institutions, or on donor-funded projects;
- Familiarity with procurement processes;
- Knowledge of human rights, governance, or rule of law programming
