JOB DESCRIPTION: 
The Planning and Reporting Expert provides support to Climate, Environment and Resilience (CER) Team Leader with the rigorous planning, monitoring of the project cycles and reporting related to the implementation of country level projects, and as such supports by: (i) collecting and managing data; (ii) overseeing and consolidating portfolio’s projects related to corporate reporting; (iii) supporting application of proper RBM based monitoring and reporting tools to measure the progress, document good practices and lessons learned; (iv) ensuring timely delivery/submission of reports and other consolidated documents; (v) facilitating communication, capacity building, knowledge generation and sharing.
The Planning and Reporting Expert will work under the supervision of the CER Portfolio Team Leader in close collaboration with the Programme and project coordinators, as well as UNDP CO Results-Based Management Programme Analyst.
RESPONSIBILITIES: 
- Provide substantive support to the Team Leader and Programme/ Project Coordinators in implementation of projects-level planning, the adaptation of business processes and procedures to the corporate requirements;
- Support in effective application of RBM tools at CER project level, including follow-up on the mechanisms to track use of RBM tools and maintenance of RBM database;
- Support in the follow-up of evaluation and audit recommendations;
- Support Team Leader in the coordination of projects reporting processes, application of relevant monitoring tools, monthly/ quarterly and annual project reviews. Ensure preparation and submission of timely project/ donor reports, and other corporate reports such as ROAR, CPD, and UNSDCF;
- Collect, analyze and summarize result data and information on Project activities according to approved AWPs;
- Collect and compile background material for use in discussions and briefing sessions, for advocacy; facilitate knowledge building and sharing within the teams; sound contribution to knowledge networks, UNCT, and community of practices as required;
- Support in synthesis and sharing of lessons learned and best practices in projects in compliance with CER Programme, develop case studies upon necessity;
- Support CER Team Leader in partnership building and implementation of resources mobilization strategies, preparation of relevant information, including donor profiles, in drafting funding concept/ proposals, including ad-hoc reports as required;
- Provide information for linkages across projects/programs and portfolios’ activities to help identify cross-cutting dimensions and critical points of integration and synergy;
- Assist the CER Team Leader in liaising with key counterparts and stakeholders from the Government, Donor Community, Civil Society, Academia as required, draft communication as required;
- In cooperation with the project’s teams prepare periodic substantive reports for implementing partners, external institutions, and partners against donor contributions, on the UNDP's activities overall;
- Support in substantive monitoring and quality assurance of the assigned projects, support in identification of operational and financial problems, and development of solutions;
- Maintain documentation of decisions and actions taken on Programme issues and all monitoring and evaluation mechanisms including lessons learned and frameworks implementation issues;
- Support project teams in the accurate observance of administrative rules, regulations, and procedures in line with UNDP Standard Operation Procedures related to project/program operation;
- Perform other job-related duties as required.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 
Minimum Academic Education:
- Secondary Education with at least 7 years of administrative experience, including project and programme support, preferably with international organizations, or
University degree (Bachelor’s or equivalent) in the environment or natural resource management, Environmental Economics, Development, Business Administration, relevant Social Science fields.
Work experience:
- At least 7 years of relevant administrative experience, including project and programme support, preferably with international organizations (with secondary education); or 4 years with a University Degree.
Required Language(s) (at working level):
- Fluency in Armenian, English, and Russian languages.

Desired additional skills and competencies:
- Experience/ exposure working in related thematic areas such as environmental management, ecosystem conservation and natural resources management, energy efficiency, disaster risks reduction, etc., is an advantage;
- Familiarity with UNDP rules and regulations is an advantage.
