JOB DESCRIPTION: 
Under the management of the Deputy Country Director, the Project Officer is responsible for supporting project activities
RESPONSIBILITIES: 
- Lead on projects implementation and team workplans and follow-up with Project team;
- Act as the focal point for partners and authorities at local level;
- Monitor project expenses and ensure that resources are being used effectively and in line with the budget;
- Represent Acted in meetings with donors, partners, and relevant stakeholders;
- Ensure that the project is visible in the humanitarian/development community and raise awareness of Acted’s work in Armenia;
- Lead on organizing outreach events and relationships with local authorities;
- Participate in the identification and verification process for beneficiary selection under the direction of the Deputy Country Director;
- Under the coordination of the Deputy Country Director, engage with local communities and other stakeholders to ensure the beneficiaries are listened to and engaged in the programming process;
- Ensure appropriate beneficiary documentation is collected and retained;
- Working with M&E team, oversee beneficiary selection process;
- Working with M&E team, ensure PDM/CSI activities are implemented in a timely way;
- Staff performance management;
- Contribute to internal and donor reporting;
- Attending any trainings as requested by their line-manager(s);
- Available for travel up to 3 nights at a time;
- Carry out other duties as requested by the Deputy Country Director
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 
- At least 3 years of experience in project management in the NGO sector, preferably in Armenia or the Caucasus region;
- Proven experience managing multi-sectoral projects, including in humanitarian or development contexts;
- Experience in donor reporting, budget management, and staff coordination;
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration/ economics/ similar field or relevant practical experience;
- Experience in the use of computer and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.);
- Good knowledge of the use of Excel spreadsheets;
- Commitment to high-quality adaptive and accountable humanitarian programming;
- Fluent knowledge of Armenian and English, proficiency in Russian.
Preferred requirements:
- Prior experience in Cash programmes.
