JOB DESCRIPTION: 
The Psychologist will be responsible for provision of psychological assistance to Syrian-Armenian people and Armenian residents in the Psycho-social center within the framework of "Increased Resilience of Syrian Armenians and Host Population (IRIS)" program.
RESPONSIBILITIES: 
- Provide psychological consultations and referrals to Syrian-Armenians and other people visiting PSS center;
- Conduct home visits to the program beneficiaries based on the needs;
- Register the visitors and organize information sessions for them;
- Conduct exploration interviews to assess the overall psycho-social and physical conditions of each new beneficiary;
- Conduct focus group discussions with women, men and children visitors of the Center;
- Ensure proper follow-up on all actions to be considered for cases till achieving desired results;
- Compile the data and statistics linked with PSS activities and report to the PSS Center Officer;
- Prepare psychological reports on individual cases and file them according to standards;
- Support the PSS Center Officer to supervise the daily PSS activities;
- Supervise, in close coordination with the Coordinator, the PSS training for staff and volunteers;
- Participate in all awareness raising, recreational and psycho-social activities conducted in or outside the center;
- Participate in team meetings and case studies;
- Prepare regular narrative reports.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 
- Master's degree or higher in Psychology;
- At least 3 years of formal training and experience in psychological counselling;
- Experience in working with Syrian-Armenian people;
- Demonstrated ability to work well as part of an interdisciplinary team;
- Demonstrated ability to work in a diverse environment;
- Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Armenian languages;
- Computer literacy: MS Office suite, internet and e-mail;
- Recognition of ARCS principles and values;
- Adherence to Red Cross values and principles.
