JOB DESCRIPTION: 
The Psychologist is responsible for delivering Mental Health and Psychosocial Support services (MHPSS) and capacity building within PUI’s partners, in close collaboration with the PUI-Psychologist supervisor and MHPSS Coordinator. The Psychologist will provide individual counselling sessions, follow-ups sessions and basic focused and non-specialized mental health and psychosocial support to beneficiaries based on identified needs. He/ she will be responsible for building referral links to PUI partners and to external specialized services. He/ she contributes and provide technical support/ supervision to the community-level psychosocial support activities and to the data collection.
RESPONSIBILITIES: 
Individual Psychosocial Counselling:
- Conduct intake and psychosocial assessments of beneficiaries referred by local and international organization, community, self-referrals;
- Provide one-on-one counseling sessions to adult beneficiaries suffering from mild to moderate psychological symptoms, by following PUI MHPSS internal framework, SOPs and international guidelines such as the IASC;
- Work with beneficiaries to develop an individualized treatment plan based on the assessment in line with their own choices, available options, and existing situation;
- Provide basic support and guidance to family members to help them provide ongoing support to the sever cases at home, according to the situation;
- Provide child counseling sessions involving child's parents/ caregivers through offering family counseling or psycho-education;
- Collect beneficiary data documentations;
- Maintain and promote beneficiary confidentiality regarding beneficiary information and records, and ensure informed consent for appropriate cases and management plans;
- Work closely with the PUI-Psychologist supervisor in severe cases and at-risk cases.
Case Management:
- Provide appropriate internal and external referrals, follow up, monitor all referral cases, and ensure timely turnaround of assessment reports and other needed interventions;
- Receive and manage external referrals;
- Provide appropriate referrals to specialized interventions, in coordination with the PUI-Psychologist supervisor.
Capacity Building:
- Pro-actively participate in the capacity building sessions performed by the MHPSS Co, PUI-Psychologist supervisor;
- Receive technical inputs and regular supervision from PUI-Psychologist supervisor;
- Plan and implement closely with PUI-Psychologist supervisor, internal and external MHPSS workshops, trainings and capacity building;
- Develop and implement capacity building training on topics related to MHPSS to partners.
Technical Supervision
- Organize supervision and case discussion sessions for partner organizations’ MHPSS and PSS providers, in cooperation with PUI-Psychologist Supervisor;
- Participate in the supervision and technical discussion sessions provided by PUI-Psychologist Supervisor to the partner organizations’ MHPSS and PSS providers;
- Provide technical discussion sessions to partner organizations’ PSS providers with the support of PUI-Psychologist Supervisor;
- Assess the impact of the technical discussion and support in regular basis;
- Make needed adjustments to the intervention according to the impact of technical discussion feedback;
- Record needed information carefully and accurately.
Reporting:
- Provide monthly reports;
- Provide daily reports for emergency cases;
- Record the beneficiary and activity data accurately according to the guidelines, ensuring data protection;
- In close collaboration with the PUI-Psychologist supervisor, contribute to the MHPSS statistic reports.
Demonstrate ethical and professional practice:
- Respect beneficiary confidentiality at all times;
- Perform the psychosocial intake assessment and without risking beneficiary’s’ personal safety;
- Ensure the safety and security of all beneficiaries;
- Respect and promote PUI Polices and code of conduct;
- Address needs and requests of beneficiaries in a respectful and professional manner;
- Report any incident or act that causes any harm to beneficiary or to others;
- Always interact with children with the presence of their parents or caregivers;
- Always respect a refusal of MHPSS intervention;
- Mainstream of protection throughout all actions.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 
- Degree in Psychology, Counselling;
- Proven clinical experience as a Counselor or psychologist in the direct provision of counseling and -psychosocial support services to adults and children;
- At least 3 years of professional experience, preferably in the NGO sector;
- Experience in working with vulnerable/ marginalized populations;
- Experienced in Community-Based MHPSS;
- Excellent report writing and communication skills;
- Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of people;
- Knowledge of English, Armenian and/ or Russian languages.
Desirable:
- Training on PFA, Resilience group, Family Psychoeducation, child counseling;
- Experience working with PM+ approach, and resilience groups;
- Experience in providing MHPSS training;
- To be adapt based on each location’s needs;
- Ability to provide remote psychosocial support services, especially counselling sessions, Capacity building and supervision, using different platforms.
