JOB DESCRIPTION: 
Strategic Development Agency is looking for an enthusiastic PR and Communications Specialist to manage the Project-related communication and be responsible for the development and printing of the project-related promotional materials. The specialist will promote vocational education and coordinate the communication activities with other stakeholders working in the field of VET. Under the guidance and supervision of the project manager and head of the organization, the incumbent will be responsible for ensuring that the communication strategy for the project is aligned with the scope and implementation of the project.
RESPONSIBILITIES: 
The job responsibilities of the PR/Communications Specialist include, but are not limited to the following:
- Develop and maintain Communication strategies, Action plans and Marketing plans;
- Maintain a detailed knowledge of the Project’s donor-organizations communication policies, principles, and strategies, and keep them up-to-date with relevant project partners’ communication specialists;
- Collaborate with the project team in implementing the Project activities and communicate to the stakeholders, partners involved and a wider audience on the Project main outcomes and achievements;
- Participate in the development of effective corporate communication strategies;
- Design and implement communication activities, campaigns and elaborate information materials consistent with the Project Communication Strategy;
- Assist project team to execute communication and visibility strategies in accordance with donors’ and organization’s guidelines and policies;
- Organize initiatives and plan project events, press conferences, meeting-discussions etc. to achieve better Project understanding, recognition, and visibility;
- Collect, synthesize and package information, including production, editing of press releases, visual materials and success stories etc;
- Edit texts of a specialized or technical nature in order to ensure accuracy, clarity, cohesion and conformity with the organization house-style English and Armenian, policy and practice;
- Develop public relations materials, promotional packages, visibility materials and various printing materials focused on project promotion and assist publicizing them;
- Liaise with media, organize TV shows and facilitate media coverage for public events and initiatives;
- Liaise with communication service providers for the production of material including; visibility materials, photo and video stories publications, audio-visual production etc.;
- Make communication products i.e. website updates, visual materials, booklets, leaflets; brochures, reels, success stories, clips and photo-library;
- Maintain online social presence of the organization and the Project activities including website updating, Facebook, Instagram, Tik-Tok etc;
- Assist in organizing project’s events, workshops, meetings, donor and partner field trips, briefings etc;
- Maintain database of all project’s partners, stakeholders and networks;
- Collect and archive photos to be used in future stories and communication materials;
- Contribute to communications related activities;
Perform other related duties, including the direct implementation of some technical activities, as required.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 
- University degree in Public Relations, Journalism, Communications or in a related area;
- At least 2 years of experience in the relevant position;
- Solid understanding of project management principles;
- Experience of working with governmental structures, mass media, donor organizations, non-governmental organizations and private sector;
- Proven social media, visualization and networking expertise;
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, tact and high sense of responsibility;
- Good time management skills;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to clearly express ideas in oral and written forms, accuracy in task implementation and concentration;
- Strategic and creative mindset;
- Ability and willingness to travel across the regions of RA;
- Ability to work under pressure and with strict deadlines;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Ability to establish and maintain working relations in a team and independently;
- Fluency in English, Russian and Armenian languages;
- Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office, and related business and communication tools;
- Understanding of the rural development context in Armenia is a plus.
