JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Embassy of Sweden in Yerevan is looking for a committed and service-minded PA to the Ambassador, who is also Promotion/Communications officer.General information about the position
The PA reports primarily to the Ambassador. You should be able to work independently but will also work closely with the other colleagues in the Embassy.
The working language at the Embassy is English.
The employment will be in accordance with the Embassy’s staff terms and conditions as well as local legislation and begins with a three-month probation period. The salary will be decided based on the successful candidate’s individual skills and experience. The position is full-time, 39 hours, 45 minutes per week. Working remotely is not possible.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manages the ambassador’s daily schedule, books meetings and organizes trips in Armenia;- Handles protocol matters, official correspondence and contacts with the Armenian authorities:
- Supports the embassy in organizing and coordinating events;
- Assists incoming visitors from Sweden
- Plans and organises Sweden promotion, including events;
- Plans and coordinates external communication, website and social media;
- Drafts speeches;
- Assists in consular and migration matters;
- Handles incoming inquiries from the public;
- Tackles any new tasks and show high degree of flexibility.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
.Qualifications, previous experience and skills
- Academic degree in a field relevant to the position;
- Minimum of three years’ work experience, for example, from other embassies or delegations, or Armenian administration/universities;
- Knowledge of protocol and diplomatic etiquette;
- Keen interest in and understanding of current economic and political affairs in Armenia and in global affairs;
- IT proficiency in MS office, Teams; familiar with social media platforms and other public sources of information;
- Excellent written and oral command of Armenian and English;
- High level of work ethics, sense of duty, good judgement and integrity;
- Willing to co-operate and willing to learn(
- Structured, service-minded, organized and with excellent administrative capacity;
- Ability to work under pressure, demonstrate flexibility and adapt easily to new tasks and responsibilities.
