JOB DESCRIPTION: 
Tumo is looking for a Tax Exemption Specialist who will perform professional administrative functions in tax exemptions processes for charitable projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES: 
Positions in this job profile typically perform a full range of duties at a level of complexity represented by the following types of responsibilities:
- Review and process foundation tax exemption applications; prepare and apply charity projects; calculate nontaxable and taxable portions; collect and assemble supporting data;
- Conduct field control to verify use and application of tax exemption rules;
- Confer and correspond with the internal requesters or their representatives regarding application process or results; explain rights and procedures; investigate complaints and determine and initiate corrections;
- Represent the foundation towards the Government committees by answering daily questions about the applications;
- Perform job-related duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 
Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:
- Bachelor’s degree in Administration or relevant field; major course work in Charity Educational, Business or Public Administration, Accounting or a related field;
- 3 years of increasingly responsible experience in non-profit practices, assessment, taxation and appraisal methods, or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
- Good knowledge of English, Armenian and Russian languages;
- Good knowledge of MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
- Preferably, knowledge of an ERP;
- Strong communication and negotiation skills;
- Honest and trustable person;
- Willingness to learn;
- Detail orientation.

ABOUT COMPANY: 
Tumo is a free after-school program designed for teens. Since the program's launch in 2011, four Tumo centers have opened their doors in Armenia: in Yerevan, Dilijan (in collaboration with the Central Bank), Gyumri and Stepanakert (in collaboration with AGBU). A new, fifth Tumo center is planned to launch in the northern border village of Koghb, in Tavush. Under the Tumo educational program, students get acquainted with four main focus areas: animation, web design, game development and filmmaking, and ten complementary skills, including robotics, programming, photography, music and more.
