About Teach For Armenia: Teach For Armenia is building a movement of leaders who will reshape what it means to provide an excellent education for all children across the nation. The Organization aims to cultivate students who can harness their voices and shape a changing world while being committed to their communities. This will require support at every level of leadership, from the teachers in the classroom to the highest-ranking officials. Teach For Armenia aims to accomplish this vision by recruiting promising leaders, both in Armenia and from across the diaspora, to teach for a 2-year commitment in schools where their knowledge and skills are needed. In the long-run, the Organization is cultivating a network of changemakers, inclusive of its students, their communities, its Alumni, government officials, community partners, supporters, and affiliates from across Teach For All.
The Role: By 2025, Teach For Armenia aims to recruit a total cohort of 360+ Teacher-Leaders. To do so, TFA must increase its recruitment goal by 20% each and every year. Once it reaches scale, it will plateau and remain at “steady state”. In 2022, TFA has initiated a pilot of Tech4Armenia initiative

Tech4Armenia Launch Expert will intensively work on securing partnerships with Tech Companies as well as sourcing the talent within those organizations who would join the 2-year Teacher Leadership Development Program. Tech4Armenia Launch Expert will be part of the respective working group and will report to the Managing Director of Talent Initiatives.
RESPONSIBILITIES: 
For this role, the key responsibilities will include:
- Work with Managing Director of Talent Initiatives and Head of Recruitment to develop strong strategies in order to ensure the success of Tech4Armenia ahead of 2023-2024 school year;
- Work with the Recruitment team to recruit qualified candidates from partner organizations;
- Establish Partnerships with tech companies in Armenia in order for them to join Tech4Armenia initiative and promote the program among their staff;
- Manage and further cultivate existing partnerships within the Tech4Armenia Initiative;
- Work with Head of Recruitment and Head of Marketing, Communications, and Engagement to have a successful campaign targeting employees in the tech industry.
Note: Teach For Armenia is a growing nonprofit working within a dynamic system. Its team must be agile as it grows in scale. TFA is looking for leaders who are resilient and adaptive. That is to say that responsibilities may shift over time.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 
- At least 3 years of experience in partnerships or related area with a strong track record of success;
- Fluency in Armenian and English languages;
- A meaningful personal connection and network in the Armenian tech industry.
For this role specifically, Teach For Armenia is also looking for a candidate who possesses the following key competencies:
- Driving Strategy: In order to achieve scale, it is critical Tech4Armenia Launch Expert develops a strategy that will lead to the success of the initiative;
- Partnerships and Stakeholder Management: Without key partnerships, Teach For Armenia will not be able to reach its aims. For that reason, the Tech4Armenia Launch Expert must be a master of cultivating strong partnerships with universities and other organizations;
- Recruitment: With such ambitious goals, TFA needs a leader with a demonstrated track record of meeting targets in recruitment, sales or other relevant areas;
- Collaboration: The Tech4Armenia Initiative intersects with various departments across the Organization, from Marketing and Brand Strategy to Regional Teams. TFA needs a leader who is able to partner with others in order to exploit opportunities and mitigate risks;
- Communications: A key part of this role will be developing a strong “story of impact”, specifically for the stakeholders in the IT industry.
