JOB DESCRIPTION: 
CARD Foundation is looking for a Project Coordinator who will work for “Rural Economic Development - New Economic Opportunities (RED-NEO)” project new component entitled “Women Leading Rural Entrepreneurships - WoLeRE” funded by USAID. The RED-NEO WoLeRE component has the following 2 objectives:
- Women’s capacity and entry points for rural entrepreneurship enhanced;
- Stakeholders’ capacity and commitment to address insufficient policies, employment practices, cultural, and other barriers to advance women’s economic leadership/ empowerment cultivated.
Some of the expected activities to be conducted during the project are:
- Assessment to identify the gaps in technical and entrepreneurial knowledge and skills that impede women’s advancement as agripreneurs and their engagement in higher paid agriculture jobs;
- Design plan of action and training programs to address gaps in women’s technical and entrepreneurial knowledge and skills in agriculture;
- Introductory training sessions on agripreneurship and soft skills for young women from rural communities and students of universities working in the sector;
- Legal, accounting, mentoring and coaching services to women agripreneurs as well as developing mechanisms to sustain access to those services after completion of the project;
- Networking events to foster new partnerships and reinforce existing networks among women entrepreneurs, students, business associations, training institutions, and other entities;
- Work with GOAM and CSOs involved in GBV prevention and response to raise awareness among women of safe spaces for women to share their experiences, concerns and develop solutions;
- Awareness raising of women agripreneurs, female farmers, and local government officials on TIP and the worst forms of child labor and workplace hazards and safety standards;
- Legal, psychosocial, and medical services to beneficiaries who become victims of GBV;
- Gender training for beneficiaries, national and local government officials on gender issues, including GBV and CTIP.
RESPONSIBILITIES: 
- Coordinate program component activities;
- Coordinate work of partner organizations, e.g. making sure activities under their responsibility are being implemented according to program component requirements and on timely manner;
- Collect and analyze program component related information, prepare consolidated reports, submit reports to program Chief of Party (COP);
- Prepare annual work plans for program component implementation and submit them to COP;
- Coordinate program component monitoring, ensure timely update of monitoring information on program monitoring framework.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 
- Master’s degree in Economics, International Development or relevant professions;
- At least 2 years of experience in projects targeting gender related issues such as women empowerment, supporting women entrepreneurship, etc.;
- At least 3 years of experience in working at relevant development projects, preferably in agriculture sector;
- Data analysis, illustration and presentation skills;
- Good negotiation, communication and writing skills;
- Fluency in English and Armenian languages; fluency in Russian language is a plus.
