SPPA- Armenia is a 5-year program, funded through German Cooperation with Armenia via the KFW. The program involves the following Protected Areas: Shikahogh State Reserve, Areviq National Park, Zangezur, Khustup, Boghakar, Plane Grove and Sev Lich (Black Lake) State Sanctuaries. The purpose of the Programme is the improvement of natural resources and protected areas management, while at the same time improving the socio-economic situation of adjacent local rural communities.
