About us:

Wider Opportunities for Women (WOW) is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving economic opportunities for women and girls. WOW works in its home community of the District of Columbia and nationally. For almost 40 years, WOW has helped women learn to earn with programs that emphasize technical and non-traditional skills, welfare -to-work transition, and help families build paths to self- sufficiency. WOW works in partnership with state and local programs around the country as well as on a national level. WOW has an operating budget between one and two million dollars.
