JOB DESCRIPTION: 

As the Tufenkian Foundation’s Partnership Lead, you will work closely with the Foundation team to ensure the long-term sustainability of our projects, especially regarding the diversification of income streams so as to amplify impact on our target areas.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Partnerships
- Coordinate the design and implementation of the Foundation’s partnership strategy.
- Design tailored engagement frameworks for diverse donor segments, including corporate partners, the public sector (inc. state and local authorities), and international NGOs.
- Categorize partners based on defined criteria and define cooperation approaches to optimize collaboration and resource allocation.
- Spearhead the pursuit of state subvention funding programs through close coordination with regional and local authorities.
- Cultivate partner relationships and produce reports consistently on joint initiatives and the Foundation’s broader impact.

2. Local Fundraising
- Community Project Ideation: Actively participate in the co-creation and conceptualization of community development projects that are strategically integrated with resettlement activities.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Public Administration or a related field;
- Understanding the full lifecycle of a partnership—from identification and prospecting, to negotiation, onboarding, and long-term retention;
- Knowledge of how to navigate relationships with diverse entities, such as government agencies, private corporations, and national/international NGOs;
- Understand international donor and Armenian government grant mechanisms, including subvention application processes;
- Understanding of financial requirements, including budget assemblage, cost-benefit analysis, etc;
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Fluency in Armenian and English ( exceptional verbal and written skills in both languages).
- At least 5 years of work experience in the international and/or local NGOs, as well as in the private sector, especially with the focus on Corporate Social Responsibility.
- At least 2 years of work experience in a similar field (partnerships, fundraising).
