ԱՇԽԱՏԱՆՔԻ ՆԿԱՐԱԳԻՐ՝ 

The Armenian branch of DAI Global UK is looking for a detail-oriented, committed and highly motivated professional to support the stakeholders of the Sustainable Inclusive Growth in Mountainous Armenia (SIGMA) project - implemented by DAI and funded by the Swiss Agency for Development of Cooperation (SDC) – in conducting research, developing policy recommendations, engaging with public and private sector stakeholders, and contributing to the development of policy reports, analytical papers, strategic frameworks, and legislative or regulatory proposals aimed at strengthening market systems and improving the enabling environment for sustainable economic development in Armenia. The advisor will ensure that proposed reforms are aligned with Armenia’s reform agenda and international best practices.

Specifically, the Policy Advisor will contribute to the SIGMA project’s efforts to advance reforms that promote competitive, inclusive, and resilient market systems, with a focus on agriculture, environment and climate, food security, export development, territorial development, and SME competitiveness.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Armenia’s economic development landscape, demonstrated experience in research, policy analysis, stakeholder engagement, and advisory roles within the sector. The position requires strong analytical, research, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. S/he should be able to navigate complex stakeholder environments and contribute to the project through high-quality research, policy recommendations, and strategic inputs that support sustainable and inclusive growth in the agriculture sector. Flexibility, adaptability, and occasional travel to the project’s target regions are essential.

ՊԱՐՏԱԿԱՆՈւԹՅՈւՆՆԵՐ՝ 

• Contribute to the development of, and provide technical inputs and recommendations to:
- Sectoral analysis and diagnostics identifying constraints and opportunities for market systems development across priority sectors;
- Policy reform roadmaps to strengthen market competitiveness, resilience, and private sector growth;
- Benchmarking and comparative analysis of international best practices related to agricultural development, green transition, food security, export promotion, territorial development, and SME support;
- Policy papers and strategic recommendations to improve the enabling environment for businesses, value chains, and local economic development;
- Recommendations to strengthen coordination between national, regional, and local institutions supporting economic development and market systems.

• Develop recommendations and action plan for SIGMA phase II policy outcomes.
• Engage with relevant ministries, public institutions, business associations, development partners, and private sector stakeholders to facilitate dialogue and coordinated policy development regarding:
- Findings and recommendations emerging from sector analyses and policy diagnostics;
- Development and implementation of strategies supporting agricultural modernization, climate adaptation, food security, export competitiveness, SME development, and territorial economic growth;
- Policy options for improving regulatory frameworks, institutional coordination, and public-private collaboration.

ԱՆՀՐԱԺԵՇՏ ՈՐԱԿԱՎՈՐՈՒՄՆԵՐ՝ 

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the relevant field;
- Post Graduate Degree in Law, Economics, Finance, Business Administration or relevant field deep understanding of the Armenian context, or similar relevant context;
- Strong written and spoken English language skills;
- Strong computer literacy.
